Not yet possible, because you cannot spawn enough monsters. I've been thinking of a antlion only survival map in the surroundings of Starship Troopers ;)

It was my server you were playing on. There is a bug in the monster waves, so it is easy to play. Hope to see an update in the near future!

Got the box up yesterday and had some nice rounds - now it is cooling down so I can update it to 1.52 in the evening. Server resides in Finland so it will serve people from northern europe.

The server tweaking for this mod surprised me that it was so easy. You could hint in the forums about www.game-monitor.com that shows all the tweakable mod variables. That could help the other server admins aswell.

Tested it and found this mod fun. I love co-op play and this adds an RPG element to get more powerful to get more frags. Me likee.

Well I have a DS box running empty atm so I could make my own server to play this with my friends. And if I get lucky one of our team members could be interested in making a map/maps for this mod. But we'll see what the future brings.

Unfortunately the server is not stable at all and no new updates are coming. I have stopped to host it.

In my experience, if you join, others will follow.

And it IS fun. There is already a handful of active players so the few servers get players every day. Try it!

I reinstalled Half-Life in Steam, extracted 'flat-life10full.zip' to the 'half-life' -folder, started steam and I see the Flat-Life mushroom. Game starts correctly and I try to join the only server: Flat-Life server (empty) and I get: "Your client .dll differs from the server's.". So what's the catch?

I hope the SDK fix is soon done and I can enjoy this game first hand...or are you planning on making a workaround?

I have a server machine at home with 3/3Mb connection (with external fileserver) and I would really like to make a dedicated server for this mod. Is there some special variables or do I make a normal DM server?

Sourceforts not working due to SDK update (like many other mods. Tested this mod yesterday and it rocks! Maybe the biggest reason was that I bumped into a server full of nice people :) Gotta say that the video tutorials for this game are very good. Watched them all. Both thumbs up!

SDK update broke many mods that use HL2DM. You can play this game without HL2DM content with this quick fix (when you wait Valve to do the eral fix for the SDK). Comment out HL2DM lines from file smod\scripts\addcontents.txt:

I have a Dedicated 16 slot server running. Direct IP is 217.112.249.235:27016. I will keep it up if I get players. At the moment it is in test phase and I will add more things to it later (plugins, maps etc.). But this will happen only if I see players there.

I think this requires HL2DM, do you have it?

1) Shut down steam

2) Copy the zip to 'SourceMods' -folder. 'Right-click' on the 'RocketCrowbarSource.zip' and select 'extract to here'.

3) Restart Steam and it is in the list.

It takes time to learn and master. All that I can say to that comment..
