this mod is barely playable too much clutter on the maps, showing hl:a models in trailers only not to include them, textures don't aren't close to the base game meaning the """"vanilla"""" art style thing is false, the map design is awful, i had to stop at route canal because it looked so sh**y. not to mention the strange and annoying install process and how much of a pain it is to remove. im convinced most of the community must be blind not to see just how bad this "mod" is (it's not a mod because you install it like an addon but that means you have to delete the hl2 folder then press the uninstall button and steam then reinstall) if reviews were on this mod this would be in there but they're not so i have to leave this as a comment. also high way 17 was broken on launch and if you forgot to download a patch whoops the game is unplayable. do not play this mod, it's not worth 28gbs.

no not the best way just a way it has too many level design changes to be considered vanilla plus, just new areas cool vanilla plus changes to the original areas that change the level design drastically no not vanilla plus.

wtf, sorry but this looks awful the textures are sometimes from hl:a but sometimes from base hl2, the wall textures don't even look close to the original , the npc's that aren't in hl:a are just base hl2 models. not to mention the fact that the alyx model for hl:a is was confirmed to be unfinish, and it just looks ugly, not to mention the weird yellow filter over everything, the mod should A. be delayed or B. cancelled, because this while not as bad as the original cinematic mod still looks terrible, if it release like this to praise im going to play it just so i can rip it apart even more. but hey it's better than cinematic mod (aka THE BARE F###ING MINIMUM)
