+ for anyone experiencing crash at launch for the first time launching, let it sit for a while, like, it was 10 minutes for me. It doesn't actually crash and it happens only the first time, be patient, don't click anything.
Otherwise Windows will shut the program, thinking it crashed. This is #1 rule for total conversion mods, don't be a dumb with busy fingers, let it sit.
I played this on 1.2.9 and had no issues except once it crashed during second phase of the siege, which wasn't encountered after loading the save.

Mod's great, had no issues except one crash in castle retreat, which resolved itself afterwards.
Only problem is, why North is not snowy in scenes? All cities and encounters are set in green meadows instead of snow.
I really wonder when we'll see such mods in BL. Nothing comes even close. This mod is not perfect though, Freelancer would move it to another level and bugs, crashes everywhere. But this mod is my dream to play in BL.
TW released BL late. TW said they were "perfecting" the game. BL is still treated as "Beta".
Don't be like TW. You can get more feedback and probably finish developing the mod before TW actually finishes with BL patches.
Is there a way to change key bindings? I don't like hearing beeps everytime I holster weapon. I want to keep B for holster.
1/10 installation is too easy. At least include sacrificing the first born child to play this mod. Man..!
HD Models made it really hard to identify and scopes don't show as well. I hit my own guys two times in different saves.

I'm not complaining about anything, I appreciate your hard work and I acknowledge it with respect.
But with the answers I got, looks like it won't be fun for me to play.So, I wanted to share my experience with the mode and I rated with an explanation, which also shows my appreciation to your work. I think you should just relax and take a break, you're overreacting.
Appreciate the answer. I'm able to understand some other aspects like historical unit formations and such stuff. But for each case, I was never dead and soldiers disobeyed my orders when I was still commanding and as I said, both AI and my units keep retreating and forwarding when a new wave of reinforcements arrive.
It prevents any kind of progress for both side and after a long duration, it's just a small portion of the army dealt with.
Could you please remove that feature of "regrouping with reinforcements" or at least make an optional small battlegrounds? Each battle ground is huge and it already takes time for armies to come together. When they do, they brake up after a minute and same thing happens throughout the skirmish.
EDIT: Also, is it possible for you to add an option for amount of reinforcements? Some mods include it via Camp menu, which also include other options. It would be really helpful since spending more than an hour for each big battle makes it hard and unpleasant to play since armies mostly bunch up to move in this mod.
Mod is great in most aspects, skirmishes are fun and first properly spear oriented mod I played. Even Brytenwalda missed lots of points.
However, there are some points really makes it hard for me to play.
- When army deployed, infantry stays on the left-back and archers stay in front. Is there a way to optimize it? They keep to their patterns even if I order infantry and archers separately and they don't stay the place i want them to.
- Sometimes troops disregard orders as a whole or separately. I put a stop to everybody but archers kept charging after their ammo deplete and around thirty percent of infantry charged once without any particular reason.
- The most problematic thing about this mod is the field battles. Each army goes way back to merge with reinforcements and this cause a constant left and right walk for armies. It makes it harder to finish the battle and after 30 minutes, I realized I just finished the first wave with about 150 dead enemies and there were around 700 left to deal with. It adds some dynamic interaction during the battle but also makes it way longer to finish.
- Also, AI allies don't attack the enemy when I have troops in the battlefield. I had to lure the enemy troops in order to make them battle.
- Lastly, is there a way to increase reinforcement sizes or amount of reinforcement waves?
I really liked this mod and I hope to see more unique quests and improvements, but I hope you consider these suggestions since it makes it less appealing to play.

I get runtime error during sieges. First part is all okay but when we proceed the castle, error appears after clicking continue button.

please add freelancer mod already :/ it sucks you always have to command the army on a horse with an officer's sword. i want to get in the line!
oh btw, please tweak ai to form lines, it's kinda killing the mood seeing every army charging without any formation regardless the situation.
Somethings not quite right. I started as Duty and called a Defence team on the Wild Territory. But there were Ecologysts everywhere and when we were fighting Mercenaries off, Ecologysts been provoked and started shooting us.
Could you please work on a balance for those situations since they were not provoked by Mercenaries but us. If not, I believe Monolith and Bandits are the best options for this addon.
P.S: I choose fast response + more units.
All I can say is, we appreciate your hard work as much as we enjoy Stalker, which is obvious. All those bugs and problems, but unique experiences that no other game can offer. You guys make that experiences greater than before, regardless those problems. Thank YOU.

It would be awesome. I see NPCs going prone, shooting backward etc. It would be most useful in combat with some privileges like increased sneaking and if it's not just 1st person, smaller target for enemies.
I don't know if it's too hard to add quests but, it's a long range work. And, as STALKER series are forgotten, it's awesome to do something like this. I don't know if it affects copyright stuff, but making a whole new game with new quests and environment would be a major thing for the series.. Maybe some "after CoP" can be applied, or playing another Stalker during SoC, or after SoC.. Anyway, lots of ideas, but not much people to do it.. I hope you resume the project and share it with us..
