I was wondering if you were going to fix the campaigns for the Wars of Liberty mod.
While I love the skirmish aspect, I still enjoy the campaigns.
If by fix you mean disable, then yes.
I'd rather you keep the campaigns. The problem I have is the fact that you're playing as the wrong factions. The Knights should be used in the Blood campaign, not Austria.
Also, Japan crashes after a few missions
Yeah, that's why it's better to get rid of them.
Hey Hoop,
I had some problems on the download for the Wars of Liberty mod. I know it's a free program so you aren't required to do support lol but any help or advice you can provide, would be amazing and appreciated. Pretty much, after like four minutes of playing, the game crashes and windows doesn't say **** about why. I followed the guide step by step and I have no other mods installed. I'll give more info if you've got the time.

Are you downloading the ModDB version?
Yeah for Steam. I've downloaded the updater and ran that as well. So everything seems to check out as to how the tutorial on here says to do it. I attempted it again yesterday by completely removing AOE3 and WOL (even went as far as uninstalling Steam). Everything installs fine but in the tutorial it says to copy the bin folder and name it Wars of Liberty. So I do this and when the WOL installer asks where to put the files, I select this location which it replies "This folder already exists". I say to do it anyways and it does.
In the newest patch (1.0.8 I think) it says to delete AI3 personality data in the My Games > Wars of Liberty area but all AI folders are empty for both AOE3 and WOL unless I look in the bin folders following the Steam directory which it also says not to delete these.
Yeah. That's the problem.
Dunno who wrote that thing about copying the bin folder but that's what invariably causes the game to crash.
Well tits lol so should I just install the game to the aoe bin or just to that aoe3 folder?
