they could add a editor if they wanted. but their only reason why not to release their tools was stated long ago.

the following was said:

i cant really describe or tell you how here as i would hit the letter limit, but my best advise is: read all the files for example the map you want to convert and see which objects it uses and tweaks, because most of example forgotten hopes 2 maps uses WWII vehicles which i am pretty sure you dont have in your own mod, so at that very secound you load the map it will crash.

But a great example on i learned to transfer and edit weather and such for maps was to read the files of one map and then other and see what was different. :)

I am afraid Dice never will give us those tools, if you want to improve the engine example you need to dig really deep into it yourself, Dice has become a money maker, not a Studio that care about their loyal fans anymore.
I remember the days when they where not EA's road to money making. when they actaully listened to us and shared their knowledge :-/

hmm it is going to be hard task for sure, but i hope the A.I system is a bit smilair to Battlefield 2's A.I system. because then i can in no time, make the enemy Ai and the friendly A.I's much better and actaully know how to avoid run into a wall or direct line of fire. xD
The only good A.I in the game is actaully the civilians as their only job is to run in panic xD

That is how it should sound soldier! there will be some fully scripted mission based on the Ace 5 air maps. but everything is in early dev right now.

working hard on the enviroments right now :-)
but keep spread the word about this mod, it would be awesome if many returned to play it, and maybe we can get many Ac fans to love it aswell as i will keep developing this mod :-)

No problem, every battlefield 2 modder is a friend of mine, and my help is free for every one that wants to learn the magic behind the refractor 2 engine and battlefield 2, so i am just glad you could use my help and i hope you enjoy modding my friend :-)

it doesn't exist the editor used for bf2142 is a modefied version of refractor engines 2 editor.

could really look like a Engine update, on this pic. Really awesome makde within the Editor. always been a fan of stunning graphics with alot of foliage/nature around :-) that's one + for sure :-)

And Refractor 2 engine is the oldest but still active engine out there. so it will be a good choice and i would love to increase the engine to be a lot more powerful.

I've been checking out FW version and i got to say that hes are more green and ligthen, than mine. the texture template i used are made from an uniform i got from the SWE Army doing some photo-shoots, so my textures are uniuq. i do understand people think they look similiaer but remember the country uses this camo and what i and Fw dev tried was to make it as realistic as possible so ofcouse they look similiar, but i do think the main reason why you think this, is because they both relace the EU team which fits them best in any way possible.

uhm i would love too but i don't have 3ds max installed at this time. but when you use 3ds max 9 32 bit as an eample hit the bf2 tool which will be on your action bar above the 4 screens that shows what you made or can make. when you hit the battlefield 2 plugin use the utility selection and hit mesh import and then all you got to do is find the model you want imported to 3ds max and for export well that's a whole other story :-)

you need to use poe 9 3ds max version in order to both export and import. but it does only support 32 bit version of 3ds max. :-)

there are 3 lines in the localization file and if it is a Exp team you want to edit. you need to find the other file for that.

read the following :-)
HUD_TEAMNAME_KSK Germany special KSK Team
HUD_TEXT_MENU_SPAWN_ARMY_KSK KSK
ARMY_KSK Germany special KSK Team
EOR_winningteam_KSK Germany special KSK Team: Won the Round
EOR_besteusquad BEST KSK SQUAD
HUD_HUD_WIN_STRING #TEAMNAME# has won the battle!
just replace the KSK with your teams name that should fix it :-)

so many blind angles in that cockpit it's hard to follow an enemy when half your cockpit is covered
