We don't know anything beyond what taleworlds has released to the public, and we will continue development no matter when the tools arrive

In battles the enemy occasionally spawns right in front of me and my troops, sometimes they've knocked me out immediately before I can fight back, is this a feature or a bug?

Will cities go through visual changes if captured by different factions i.e minas Morgul changing depending on if Mordor or Gondor has ownership of it?

Just curious, if someone made a visually appealing skeleton for, say, a dragon, would you add it into the game? For example in one of the story mode custom battle scenes, such as the dagor dagorath, or stretching the lore and adding a dragon that attacks the Blue Mountains, for example. I know it would be able to fly, but if its in a dwarven settlement it would be able to. Also, I know the Witcher mod team will be making plenty of custom skeletons, so could a possible collaboration happen?

Ok thanks, it’s just a mechanism that I think added weight to having an important lord on your side in perisno, and I think would add something to KoA

I am aware of that system, but I was thinking if their was s a way to make the fief lord have even more than standard. For example, if Faramir and another lord from ithilian both had a hundred men, Faramir would had substantially more master rangers than the lord, maybe double or triple the amount

Would you think about adding an honour guard or personal guard to the lords of the fiefs. If you’re familiar with the concept in perisno, the warband mod, where lords train an increased amount of one particular troop, so , in the case of KoA, something like imrahil training a larger amount of swan knights than other lords, or Faramir training more master rangers. This system was very effective in perisno and added impact to having lords in battle, as they had more elite troops.

Thanks. On the topic of Mordor, do you plan on making the Black Númenóreans wear plate armour like in the concept art show earlier this year or something else like chain mail. Just asking because I love the plate design and would strongly support its inclusion in the game. The same question stands for the lossenarch plate armour concept art, which has to be one of the best I’ve seen for the mod.

Thanks for the response. It’s such a shame all the hate modern get from their communities. I don’t know if it’s present in the KoA fan base, though from what I’ve seen it’s a fantastic skill. Modders are just trying to make their dream a reality, and some people just take that for granted. Sorry if this sounds like I’m grovelling, but it’s nice to find a modding team and community so kind to each other and have the other sides best interest at heart.

Hey mod devs, just have a few questions
1. How unique are you planning on making lords from their troops. Will it be instantly noticeable or only minor details
2. Will we be able to get most lords unique items/equipment, say Boromirs plate armour, without killing them, either through quests or other means
3.Will all equipment be available to the player, or will it be a TLD type system, where enemy equipment is locked
4.Do you plan on adding companions and if you do, how many will their be?
5. Will you start out in vassalage to a faction, or as a independent group.

Thank you for replying to everyone’s questions, it really is appreciated. The KoA team has to be one of the most friendly, skilled, creative and all around amazing teams on any mod for any game
