I agree. Best looking skybox EVER.
I agree. Best looking skybox EVER.
The Lobber reminds me of the Grindhouse Zombie movie... Damn, that one scene was REVOLTING.
You deserve the job. I love your work.
I really, really hope these guys can make it to standalone someday. I want to play this dearly.
About damn time you made this map.
Extremely well done. Keep this stuff up and you'll have a great mod.
It's...beautiful.... *sniffs*
Game play, creativity, and big friggin weapons. All in that order.
I like the Star Wars tributes =P
Very nice work.
This mod looks like it'll reduce any video card under an 800xt to a bubbling puddle of molten metal.
I'm so poor. =(
They haven't ported the models over to any of their own maps yet.
That is infact, Fall of Berlin.
Yes, and it had plenty of flaws. I'd rather play battlefront first-person style.
The Imperial scout looks PIMP. Keep up the work and you'll be seeing a good playerbase once this comes out.
Not much, just a few more hours to busy yourself with.
@ UnandPW
That's because the devs specifically stated that they are much further now.
and goddamnit, BM is not dead!

Can't wait. Really. =(
This looks innovative, I hope it works out for you guys!
Not possible.
Quoted from a forum member named Meteora:
"BMS will definitely not be distributed via steam as there isn't a source engine license owned by the dev team.
Games that are distributed via steam are licensed and are for profit both for valve and the licensed company.
Before people suggest getting a license consider this, it would cost grands of dollars for a license and is way out of range of even donations. Its a Zero profit modification for the source engine like other mods are."
WIP doesn't give mappers and modelers excuses to be stupid and lazy,
they're works that have not fully achieved full conceptualization from the leader's/creator's mind and have not been perfected.
Here is a quote from the the developers themselves:
"For anyone who missed the notice in the January update, we are in a development crunch. During this period no new media will be released and we will be turning down any interviews/previews with Black Mesa. This allows us to focus directly on everything as a whole, rather than on a few areas to bring them up for public-release quality. In this development crunch we are moving to secure our custom textures, models, weapons, characters, levels, code, sound and other such assets into Black Mesa. _
Manaax, bad presentation of your ideas work off the wrong way. At least give some proof for your claims! Yes Manaax, this mod is a derivative of horror movies and games ; HE ALSO SAID THAT HE USED SOME FILES FROM OTHER GAMES!!!!!!!! Rumpet told us that at the start!. Read these comments before you make an obvious statement.
--------------------------------------
"Your are no competition"
Now what is this comment about? Come now, you can do better than that! Rumpet never made this mod to compete with anybody else's. What have mods been made for these days? For the enjoyment of others. Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat were originally free. There are so many mods coming out nowadays, with the majority of them being free>/i>.

There is nothing wrong with him using his spare time to make a Half-life modification. People do all sorts of things in their spare time! Some play football; some draw; some play board games; some watch TV. Like art, movies, books, magazine articles, games, and programs, it took him some time to make things how he wanted. The fact that he took time on this modification is the very reason so many people have loved it, and criticized it, and even asked for help with it.
