Currently waiting for Desura to approve the files.
We're intentionally doing more of a soft alpha release, the first alpha build is available now. The game will be released on Steam and a few other places as well in the future.
Will take a look at it and see if we can update it today. We've been testing for quite awhile and haven't had issues with pulling Steam up.
Does this happen in the Standalone version as well? Haven't had any issues with the Standalone version over the past few months. We haven't had a chance to test the Desura MCF version much until now.
I've added a forum for discussing bugs, suggestions, etc for the Claire Alpha, you can find it here: Indiedb.com or click on the Forum button.

The alpha will initially only have the very beginning of the game. As we privately and publicly test we will continue to add portions of the game. 98% of levels have been built already.
We are currently starting to set up Alpha-Funding, however, the game's state is closer to Beta. It's not going to be a multi-month process, it's more to get feedback, publically test bugs, etc.
In regards to polishing and expanding the game, we've added 150-200+ more unique art assets and extended the length of the game a little bit, adding in scenes that we thought might be too taxing originally.
Here is an engine screenshot of how the game was pre-alpha compared to now. Pbs.twimg.com
It wasn't supposed to be released yet. We're trying to set the game up for Alpha-Funding soon and we had some crossed communication. Sorry.
We apologize for the delays. We've been adding many layers of polish and want the game to be as good as possible. The game is going to be roughly 50% longer than the original version.
There's no "TBD" option I am aware of, so we can only throw out arbitrary release dates. We do plan on starting Alpha Funding as soon as possible, and when we're ready, however since we only have one chance to make a first impression, we want to make it a good one.
We will likely be starting Alpha-Funding soon.
We are planning on releasing Claire for Vita, however, we're waiting on some engine compatibility issues, so it's not entirely set in stone yet.
Not 100% sure yet. IndieGameStand is great, but we've already got a couple of distributors lined up.
We likely will if we have the opportunity.
We're estimating about 4-6 hours depending on your playstyle, and then NewGame+ and Nightmare mode. Also planning on allowing players to create and share their own levels in the future.
