No it wasn't. They are just "new" and shotgun viewmodel is the same as in original Half-Life: 2, so it looks a bit confused. Sounds are actually good, footsteps and sprint noise must be different because of the

I think ships shouldn't be stuck in the seafloor + seafloor itself is too high or cranes are too low,also, i think optimization (to this improves i talked about) would consist of removing some areas that player wouldn't see in the first place. And of course, crashing sound is a bit too fast, dropship was flying in that time.
It's amazing guys, but you really should've removed all those trucks and vehicles with other trash. It is not that deserted to not take care of the streets. Rebels just could take these machines up and made something out of it. This is really out of place in C17. Anyway, good job!

And how's that supposed to work? I know in the retail it does make sense, giant beam powered by roters and whole Black Mesa Facility generators and even it's own electric dam to scan the crystal. This one is looking good, but what's it's purpose?
You can make a great story out of it and even add something new from you. You can make it to be the same Gordon. If enough research is done and fantasy exists in your guys brains, it will be so much more than just a recreation.

Wait, do you think that mutation fits Consoul? There is a concept art of him in some pod, without arms and must be without legs. Can you guys reimagine that with cool design? Make him a synth with robotic parts. If some research and design work is done, it wouldn't be a fail. For an example: Make him with something Cremator-Head GUI like creature with giant coat and very tall, or any other design work. Also, guys, make a hardcore mode, where time is power. The longer you are on a Trainstation, more dangerous it gets. Something like cremator or any other scary synth will bust you, or just an officer. Combine is a powerfull massive empire and took over earth almost for 7 hours... Make them hard, alien, pros and very, very smart in terms or defending the trainstation. There is no way for such great massive power to miss someone who will cause panic in the first place - Gordon Freeman. I also saw Beta Development as something in the alternative universe and something cool. Maybe you try to recreate storyline? Ask Marc Laidlaw? Do you guys think that Beta world is very strange? AirEx? It fills air with this gas that should control alien atmosphere + weather control. Looks like Combine turning our beloved planet into it's own... But why? Maybe their homeland was ruined? Maybe they are fleeing?

Guys... Make a time limit. Combine Dropships are patrolling the area and if you are sticking for too long - a nearby flying helicopter will kill you, or let player explore a little bit.

As far as i remember... E3 Docks are in the wastes too, only with bog and some plants, but it's desert, you can see it in the main map platform. Would be cool to see it too, this place impacted our hearts so much.Maybe you can use it in the quarry town scene?
I am talking about that HEV is not that futuristic super suit like in retail or like on these art. And HEV already was there before teleportation failure like in retail
