When launching Part 3 chapter 1 I got an error that there wasn't a sound called "max_gethit", to fix that I had to copy the sound folder from the Echo of the Past mod, but then random crashes started appearing with the problem being "generic_fire_death" which isn't even mentioned in any of the files.

One question, I don't know much about the series, why was the US storyline different and how does the non-US version look like? The only info I could find on the story was that it was changed globally after 9/11. Also, I would recommend changing the license agreement, especially the copyright section.
