i like the original much better than the "enhanced" version. the original seems to be much more streamlined and high tech where the technology is all "under the hood" (the Turanic Raiders have a lot of details because they use a lot of scrap pieces. okted together -- still very effective, just a different approach to getting the job done).
i think it makes a great April Fools joke! i am not a fan of the Gundam/Megatron/Transformer stuff (I think any race that had advanced enough technology to be Bable to do transformations would find much better ways to use that technology to actually accomplish a specific purpose)
i like it a lot. i know it is just a concept, but it looks good. it might make sense for some ships to be shared, especially since the Taiidan, Kushan and kadeshi are closely tied, a ship like this could be something that ties them together a little bit, while the standard ships for each race could be used to show how each race has diverged from that shared commonality.
i like your work a lot, but this image of the taiidan ion cannon Frigate has too many patches of color. it is just my interpretation of the race, but it seems like the Taiidan are much more interested in function than in style.
this is beautiful. it blends in with the Hiigaran style but is also very original.
do you have more pictures ? the background is too dark to make out details well and i would like to see it from different perspectives
when are you planning to do your next release? it has been awhile. I realize that it may not be in the state you would wish for but I'd like to play w what you have so far (especially to see what you have added since the last release)

Mikali would be really good too. I would be glad to help but am not as good as him or siber. please don't give up and don't worry about the Gearbox release (I'm sure you will be able to move your stuff to it but there is something satisfying about bringing a project to completion)

update: I was looking at the ComplexSimple mod and Siliconworm said he has found a way to make any ship hyperspace. I contacted him on his profile page to see if he could help you.
two questions:
1) would you mind helping Mickey of the Evolution mod? He needs to get ships besides the BattleCruisers to hyperspace. It would be great if you could help him (I am posting a comment on his page to contact you).
2) If you don't mind, I would like to understand what you did with the AI (could you email me a rar file with just the AI stuff)?
what release version is this planned for?
It doesn't seem there are a lot of UNSC ships (several differently named versions of the "Autumn" don't seem like they should count separately since they are all the same ship class), while I think the covenant lineup of spaceships (at least as shown in the Halo games) is even more sparse.
I'm curious, but why? there aren't a lot of ships on either side and it seems like it would be a great candidate for a mothership type.
will the UNSC's supership (I don't remember the name or class) from HALO-4 be in game?
even if you can't answer that question (I understand) what is it's name or class?

mickey_312 : I wish I could help you with the hyperspace problem by modifying the exe somehow, but I do have an idea. I don't know if you are even doing anything on this mod anymore, but hope you are. One thing you might be able to do is use a modified version of the HomeWorld Universe Mod, where your progenitors are in the Vaygr position (labeled vgr_) while the Players who want to use Vaygr and Hiigaran ships use HWU's modified hgn_ slot.
if you can upload it somewhere, put a password on it and then email me that password, I can probably test that out myself (there would still only be one ship that would hyperspace around).

I saw it as a WIP on the complex forums but haven't been able to find it again. it looked a bit like a modified Vaygr BC hull (the prow was bigger) and it had 3destroyer turrets on each side...
are you going to include the massive human ship from HALO-4 ?

I like it. Vaygr ships are a bit chunky. The textures could be cleaned up a bit, but what I'm more curious about is what specific area it will be strong in since they have more special-purpose ships.
Hey, I am glad to see what you are trying to do to improve Complex. I think the game play got too cartoonish and silly. I would not get rid of the Hgn Juggernaut, but make it a supply ship or merchant transport of some kind, not a suicide ship.
