I just found this mod via a Youtube video so I haven't been able to try it out yet, but it overall looked pretty good. Do you plan on creating an SP campaign specifically with this idea in mind?

I'm gonna give it a whirl later, so I might have some more ideas or whatever.

I concur, hitting the download button comes up with a "File not found" error. It's a shame, I'd like to try this out. :-/

Make sure the custom story folder is in the proper directory.

Move the contents from the "My_Love_1.2_Full" folder to your "custom_stories" folder in the Amnesia directory.

It should look a little bit like this:

Windows version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia - The Dark Descent\redist\custom_stories\mylove

Steam version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\amnesia the dark descent\redist\custom_stories\mylove

That might have been a problem with ModDB's server or something, because the download appears to be working now.

1.) I feel this story has come to an end, so there won't be any more "My Love" related projects coming out. Sorry. :-(
2.) I plan on making something that is a bit more horror and puzzle based, but with a story that will, hopefully, be as compelling as "My Love." It's in the very early stages, so I can't really talk about any more than that.

If you already have Justine, or if the update doesn't work, let me know, and please provide the entire error message for me so that I can troubleshoot.

I'm not entirely sure what that could be. Do you hear sound effects and music when you try playing the Custom Story, or is everything completely blank?

There is a spot directly behind the bricks you move that you need to click on to progress.

This is a pretty big design flaw, so there may be a patch coming soon to fix this problem.

Download the latest patch for Amnesia (the "Justine" expansion). I have provided a link for it in the description above. That should take care of this issue.

That IS probably the problem, now that you mention it, but I'd still like to see the error message just for a confirmation.

Though I shall update the download description telling people to make sure it's installed. :-)

Run the modification again and respond with the exact error message you receive.

After doing that, delete "My Love" from your custom_stories folder and re-download the mod. If that doesn't fix it, then I shall work on figuring out this problem.

A few people have informed me of a problem like this, but for whatever reason they have not responded with any information I can work with, which is why this problem still exists.

There should be an area, behind the bricks blocking the tunnel entrance, that you need to click on to advance to the next level.

It's the closest genre type that I could choose from. It's definitely not a "point and click" in the traditional sense, but I feel it's close enough to what this actually is--based on my limited choices.

I'm not sure I'd want to define this thing by any particular genre at all, to be honest, but people like quick classifications.

I sincerely wish I could give you something more definitive.

The main issue at the moment is that I have all of the roles filled for the characters, each with their own voice actors, but there is a lot of dialog to be recorded, and my voice actor's just don't have the time required to do it all.

The level design is complete (barring any tweaks or minor adjustments)--you can play it from start to finish in a single session. The only thing it needs is the recorded dialog.

So I apologize for the delays, but I cannot give you an estimated release date at this time. Ideally, it would be before December...but I really can't say.

Yeah, but the problem with many digital distribution services like Steam is that you don't actually OWN the game, you merely own the right to play them. You can only play them if Steam lets you, which shouldn't be a problem most of the time, but it has caused problems for me when out of range of an internet connection. Plus, if you do anything to **** the system off, POOF, you just lost your account and all of the games you spent hard money on to NOT own.

Not all DD is like that, thankfully, but I'd take a physical copy over DD anyday anyway.
