In reports you can find a special report which has visual and textual presentation of all items in the mod. They are grouped in individual pages based on item type.

Alternatively you can use Morgh's editor and check each item in more detail. Still some things won't be fully disclosed like for instance bomb area damage since they are coded.

You only get one chance to promote one regular troop to a hero.
You make him/her your personal guard and give him/her a name.
You can choose to separate from him/her but then it is for good.

You need latest Warband version.
Those items are coded, you can't just copy them to your mod.

In Bannerpage animations are already upgraded. Some were even added from "Combat Animation Enhancement", they were carefully selected and modified, with two things in mind gameplay and player vs all balance.
Reinstall the mod. Afterwards if you still want and if you know what you are doing you can text edit actions.txt. There isn't much you can do without module system files but some things can be changed.

in Native and most mods where applicable, TweakMB changes the code in scripts.txt which is in the line:
"cf_check_hero_can_escape_from_player -1"

In Bannerpage lord's escape chance is calculated by many parameters and hence you cant change it by text editing.

Appearance "Randomize" is there.
Bannerpage is already challenging in many ways. You have to carefully choose your starting abilities and skills. You'll start with less WP proficiencies than in Native.
Apart from starting inventory differences It has special skill bonus, renown, honor and right to rule setting for various roles. Many roles have unique game mechanisms available only to certain roles or unlocked by mentioned parameter's thresholds.
Start as a Beggar, Bandit Leader, Prize fighter or Rebellion Leader. Set battle and campaign AI to max and 100% wounds. Have fun.
In short staring character customizing screen is perceived as huge bonus by mod player base.

Since you are text modding copy native actions.txt and paste it in Bannerpage folder overwriting the actions.txt found in Bannerpage. It would be wise to make a backup of Bannerpage's actions.txt before that action. Make your cjanges afterwards. IF things dont go as planned you can always revert to Bannepage's actions.txt.

If player hasn't chosen one of the default Calrdia's cultures, custom player faction by default has a music mix. It would be hard to make a selection that would please everyone.

I am guessing you've meant require. There is no mod which supports wse, although There are some mods that require it.
No, BP does not require WSE and it advises players not to use it .

Nothing like that is forced or scripted. Campaign AI is sacred to author and hence untouched, the same as in Native Warband and the only reason why BannerPage hasn't added factions or changed campaign map to PRESERVE campaign AI.

Custom fonts are for BP 2.2 version and below.
BP 3.0 introduced many localizations French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish hence uniform font solution was needed.

Could be, wasnt tested, feature was integrated as fully functional.
, On the other hand, could be that inventory slots are not defined as they are supposed to be be or something else.

Merchants change their inventories once a week.
Eaxh item has a chance of showing up. Rare items have low probability of ahowing uo. Bodkin triangular is rare.
Furthermore stores are factionized, meaning they differ based on town's culture. So some items will nevwr show up in some storea.

Basic fire arrow damage is determined by standard Warband calculation as is archers precision. In addition to above explosive arrows create area damage around point of impact.
Yes, elephants can be ridden.
