How do I select the Earth Federation when I'm trying to set up a skirmish?

I keep getting virus warnings. Windows Defender is labeling it as a Trojan for some reason.

What am I supposed to do with the sounds folder?

I'm playing Xenoforce Reborn in the Origin version of Tiberium Wars, but for some reason, the other factions outside of the vanilla ones aren't selectable in the skirmish set up screen. Is there any way I can fix this?

It seems that MCO just crashes as soon as I try to start it up. I'm trying to mess with the compatibility settings, but it keeps crashing. Any idea why this is happening?
