Hello, LITDOOM'S lead dev here. You didn't even just "steal assets". You took Litdoom as it was, made it buggier, and changed its title. That's the amount of effort you put into this. Now my question is: what do you think it was going to happen?

Glad you're having fun! Don't forget that if you're playing with the version present in this site, you're missing out on TONS of new features. Currently, our testing build is only available on our discord server.

Sorry for the (very) late reply, but until we finally get to version 0.6 I'm keeping my modDB interaction to a minimum.

Anyway I'm glad you're liking the mod so far, but 0.51 is a very old version. The latest one, only present in our discord server, has much more features, and it's overall way more polished. Unless you already have, you should give it a try! Especially considering another very juicy update is coming in a couple of week at most.

What a nice piece of valuable feedback

You should check the discord server for the latest development build. It has a lot of new content, overhauled machinegun included.

Newer versions of the mod edit and update many various scripts, and this will corrupt old savegames. You can use the console and type "changemap map20" to warp yourself to that level, but you can't use your old save.

The ammunition losing is NOT a bug. It's the realistic reload feature that's ON by default, you can set it OFF from the MOD OPTIONS. As for the compatibility patch, it's in the ADDONS channel of the server.

We have also a compatibility patch for LzDoom, but you still have to get it from discord. This if you want to play with the new features and fixed bugs at least. Either that, or you wait for the full 0.6 to come out

you're most likely using an old version of the mod. You can find the latest version in the discord server, along the compatibility patch for LZDoom.

Also the gasmask is activated by its own dedicated keybind (at least for now), so make sure you take a look at the custom keybindings section.

Are you using the latest version (0.56a)? Becase these shouldn't be common issues anymore in that version. You will also require GzDoom 4.5 to use them

Yeah but the discord builds are way more advanced and full of content. I'll update this site once we get to 0.6, because I first want to get rid of most of the brutal doom arsenal

There's still quite some time before the full 0.6 can come out, but if you really want to try some of the new features, you can download the 0.56 build from our discord server.

The mod is mostly made to be played in GzDOOM, but in our discord server you can find both the latest early builds and a patch to make it launch in LzDoom too.

You are perfectly right. But sadly, I'm always busy with either real life stuff or actively working on the mod. But if someone wants to help me make a video or some kind of trailer, that would be more than appreciated!
Plus, you can check youtube for a good amount of small previews about new weapons and other stuff.

I advice you check the discord server for more updated version of the mod.

As for the crafting, I'm not quite sure what are you referring to. Aren't the ingredients and the required energy cells already enough of a "currency"?

This kind of stuff will probably be addressed and added during the 0.8 developement, which will be a HUGE update focused on new monsters and updated, improved old ones. For now, we're focusing on weapons, and we already our hands plenty full to even think about adding monsters, sadly... But we'll get there!

Could you give me what the error log says to you?
Also, if you come to our discord server, I'll be able to support you more consistently, since I don't often check the moddb page.

There are A LOT of good ones, so I'll just say the ones I remember right now:
- Ultimate torment and torture (supportive edition)
- Hellground
- Darkmoon and Darkstar (not megawads, but the atmosphere is perfect for the mod.)
- Ultimate Doom 2
- HoNTE (Hell on new earth)
- Doom 2 Reloaded
... and of course SGT_Mark last version of "Extermination day", that even though is still incomplete, I found it quite enjoyable together with this mod.

I'm probably forgetting a lot more, even among my favourites, but you should be able to find some good ones on your own and by your taste criterias.

I thought this revolver was from RainboWarrior, so I gave credits to him... can you redirect me to the original source of this weapon? Although it will probably be replaced with an original one anyway in 0.6

Edit: oh now I see, RainboWarrior coded it, while PA1NKI113R made the sprites. I'll update the credit list right away, at least until we'll replace it with our own!

They're a W.I.P. feature that will be fully working on the next update, which will be focused on the crafting system. If you want to test an early unfinished build of the mod, you can find them in our discord server!

Very weird. Basically it's saying that "a_checkproximity" isn't a registered and recognized command, but that's clearly false for GzDoom. Are you sure you're using the latest version of the source port?

You should try something like sepulcherblack or other ambient music mods, they work very well with this. And yes, I agree that a dedicated map pack would be nice, but we can't really focus on mapping while we try to develop the features that this mod is still missing. Hell, I couldn't even manage to do develop anything at all in these past months due to the crap I've been struggling with in my life, lol.

Zandronum doesn't support that command. This is a GZDoom mod only
