Man this looks really good.
Also this "" a separate module that you can download, install and enable manually. It`s all about the "player`s choice and freedom". ""
I like this idea and am working towards the same approach.
Very true. I am trying to be active but it seems I am alone hehe. No worries. Hey maybe it's time to just let it go and get on Cryengine 5 or Lumberyard?
Hey thanks for uploading this. Since I am one of the creators I was thinking about patching and releasing some new versions. Would you be ok to take it down at that point?
Yes, hello it appears "vk.com" is associated with a stolen scripts project of mine. Message me if you are still around.
Please report this project:
I will release official version on modDB once this is cleared up.
Hello this is a stolen project published in an unfinished state against the wishes of the creator (me). I have complete file revision history and logs to prove this. Artem_Vitus please take this down as i would like to publish an official release in the next few weeks and also continue the XASSM project with other games/engines. I see you are notorious for trying to steal other peoples work.
Also wondering what your system specs are so we can gauge the system requirements one might need to enjoy this someday.
Thanks for the explanation. Hope to play with these surface texture techniques some day soon! Keep it up! Do you plan on releasing an alpha or beta? Or is this still in the learning/exploring phase? (no judgement i know how it can be with this engine, it will never feel 'complete' hehe)
Yes I always found the shadow system was a very big limiting factor. For example in multiplayer to have real snappy gameplay it is important to use static shadows, with only a few real time shadows on players, vehicles and a few special objects. You are squeezing out much much more here. I read in another screenshot about the multilayered surface texture layers. So cool.
Such detail for an almost 15 yr old engine!
Really proud of (in the most respectful way) all your work on this engine and how you stick to it over the years! To see your progress with imagery is very impressive. Keep it up! Hopefully I can come back after we recover from hurricanes!
Yah man let me know too. I have some graphic cards sitting around in my mom's attic. Would hate to see your project stall because of this! (ignore that noob guest)
Garcy above in the description...under "Mods" you should add "Contest Island" if anything so that people can maybe see it and google it...also because so much of fcam comes from cis and we are terrible at marketing cis at the moment :)
Fusion what Garcy is saying is that the sound engine is not touched in FCAm so we dont think the sound issue is coming from FCAM but some FarCry and/or hardware setting you are using.
The Hang Glider can be like that sometimes...just try it a few times and you will stick to it :)
Looking good Garcy. I'll be downloading and testing this latest release soon. Im around if you need any scripting help next few weeks :)
