Here's why we picked the name iO:
- It’s short, weird, funny and memorable.
- It has a fun pronunciation (aiooo).
- It has a link with astronomy and space (IO is a moon of Jupiter).
- It’s very minimalistic and abstract, as is the game itself.
- Inside Out. You can literally see growth through the small i and big O (the ball).
- And finally, turned 90 degrees the name resembles the ball rolling over a platform.

We are Gamious, a small Dutch game developer, based in Haarlem. We craft original and accessible games with pure gameplay – games we love to play ourselves. Every game we deliver is the result of the collaborative effort of small teams with the right skills, experience and an absolute passion for that specific game genre.
