Looks good, but I think the spec could need some more details and contrast.
You guys should really use some more decals/overlays-those can add a lot of atmosphere and authenticity, and please Increase the sprite size.

Add some decals, remove the shadow of the plants, smooth the displacement, get some more realistic (no blue-ish) and interesting lighting.

...but if you take a closer look I think there are many details you can add. There are nearly (I can't see even one) decals/overlays and there are no smaller props for garbage, bushes etc. And well, yeah. Like Keep_it_up said, the 3dsky is missing.
Don't get me wrong, it's looking great, but I think you can make it even better ;)
You are right, there are still many empty areas, mostly on the outdoor area. One of the next steps will be to add new larger gras, stones and all those stuff you mentioned.

We will test placing some objects on the background/roof etc. to fill the skybox and get a better scene.

Currently there is only L4d content in there, but this will change during the final details.
I tried to make a flythrough ingame on a fixed way, but I used the wrong settings on the camera and it just started shaking around.
So I just pressed F5 and this screen is the result of it :>
I used some screens from BM, hl1 and other games as inspiration for the huge elevator when I started that map years ago, but that elevator should be the only constance with BM.
I do, most of the maps shown here were made by me ;)
Only thing I want to say is that the mod team want to make own content instead of using content other people made, just like maps, weapons etc. and I'm happy with that point. Otherwise every mod or game could use content from other projects... this would be quite lame in my opinion.
I'm quite sure the mod team wants to use only the maps they made, so they won't use any cs:s maps.

Thats not true. It's quite difficult to replace the buttons etc. in source. That's why most mods have the same menu alignment like in Hl2

More gras, cars and please make the front of the house on the left 3d, and get another texture for it, this one just looks odd.
And better align the white-plate textures on the far highrise
All servers are emtpy... played with 6 yesterday and it was quite fun. Would be a good mod if there would be more people playing it.
