You must be pretty new around here then because I don't think I know any other mod that's changed balance as often and as radically as the Edain mod did in the 10 years I've been following it^^

Oh dear, definitely wasn't expecting this. I still have a bookmark to the liquidfirestudios website lurking around deep in my archives and didn't think I'd ever hear again about LOME development.

Suffice to say, I'm glad this popped up in my updates list and now have one more thing to follow :-)

The models are awesome, but the only explanation I have for what happened to their smiles is that they just watched Season 8 of Game of Thrones.

Wasn't easy to decide, but this year I went for my favorite Minecraft mods. Can't wait to see what features they'll be getting in future updates :D

The head reminds me a lot of the future murder beasts from Primeval.

Are you sure that it's 20 regions across (on average)? If you're calculating by the square root of 100 (minus one as starting region), keep in mind that you can walk 2 regions in 1 turn when they're both friendly^^

Considering the countless hours I spent as defender in skirmish siege maps waiting desperately for the AI to attack something other than the gate with siege engines other than rams or catapults, this looks just like the feature I've always been wishing for :-)

As you said yourself, from Sauron we know for certain he could take a very pleasing physical form as Annatar, the Lord of Gifts, until the destruction of his body during the downfall of Numenor.

For Morgoth we do not have such explicit records (edit: actually we do, see Scifi.stackexchange.com), but keep in mind that originally Melkor as one of the Valar and first creations of Eru Illuvatar could very well have possessed an enthralling appearance similarly to Sauron until his first defeat and imprisonment at the hands of the Valar or later degenerations / cripplings (e.g. the duel with Fingolfin). He surely didn't look nearly as advantageous later on.

I'd also like to point out that especially the early stages of Arda's history (which this picture would be set in) are dominated by the Elves which you could easily classify as being hyper-metrosexual. So it would kind of make sense for Melkor and Sauron to adapt under some circumstances :-P

It's always nice to praise a mod and even better when you might get a game for it :D

Congratulations on finally getting this released! It's a very impressive piece of work indeed :-)

"Tents of the Noldor and Dúnedain" sounds like the title of a rather filthy fanfiction, though.

I love building uber-fortifications, so bigger defense buildings are always a very welcome sight to behold :D

I'll just stop by to drop my love for LotR-TW, the first and best LotR conversion mod for the TW series there is. While it is a bit dusty, I just love the detailed in-depth gameplay options it provides and the things it achieves to do with the engine of Rome: Total War are just incredible. Twitter.com
