Hey I’m having a lot of issues getting this installed correctly. Specifically, the launcher telling me it can’t connect to the internet, and then it telling me I’m missing files. Would anyone be able to direct me to a clean installation guide? I think I’m extracting and saving to the wrong folders, perhaps?

I am so excited for Misty Mountains. Goblins are my favorite faction in the base game (I love monsters, they haz monsters), and you guys have improved upon every faction you've touched. Can't wait.

Also, I really, reeeeaaaallly hope that y'all are thinking about an Men of the East faction. They're one of the corners of Tolkein lore that isn't explored upon as often, and I loved Haradrim and Easterlings in the base game.

Thank you for the response. I understand the desire to honor the movies and the books, but not if its done so heavily it comes at the expense of fun. Now, don't misunderstand, I really like this mod. I'm just saying that while I appreciate the notion of focusing the faction's direction, I would very much like to see monsters play a heavy role in that direction. The good factions feel like hyper-improved versions of their vanilla versions from the base game, but the evil factions are really lacking in the flair they had. I really hope that Misty Mountains will bring some of that back.

Can anyone confirm for me if Misty Mountains (Goblins) will retain their status as the "monster" faction? I love the mod but have been disappointed by the number of monsters the evil sides have lost.

I've been experiencing an odd issue since the most recent patch. Whenever I bring my mouse to the edge of the screen and start scrolling the camera, the game lags horribly until I stop. It does not do this when I hold the right mouse button to scroll. Any idea what might be causing this?

Personally I think I'd prefer it to stay with the SupCom2 Engine. Never been impressed with Unreal Engine performance, and I think the SupCom2 engine runs real nice, despite the issues y'all have with coding for it. Its your mod obviously, just my thoughts.

I had to giggle. Most of the units are these giant mammoth units, but the Soviet Epsilon one is a tiny bike. It looks so conspicuous. Love it.

Hey, could somebody please explain relic resource to me? I thought it was something that constantly increased, with the research increasing the speed of income, but I found that, after I spent it, I wasn't getting any more. Am I missing something?

I haven't forgotten. It seem to me that the point of zn Alpha is to use feedback to track down bugs or design flaws. My post wasn't a complaint post, merely a "here's what I think and see" kind of post, in the hopes that it will provide you with information you hand't received yet. I'm perfectly aware that there will be some issues. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for this great mod! I've been following it for nearly four years now, waiting for this release. You guys do great work. Here's some basic initial feedback:

Sometimes, upon building a unit y'all added (I noticed it especially with the new Cybran T1 assault bot and with the Aeon Navy), the units models simply don't appear. Their footprints do, and they can fight, but no visible model.

Teching up feels clunky. Having to invest in the building tree to unlock higher tiered units, and investing in the unit tree to unlock higher buildings is clunky and unintuitive. I see what the intent here is, but I personally find the execution to be more frustrating than fun. On a related note, having so many base SupCom 2 units be T3 feels odd. I'd much rather see them as T2, with y'all's awesome new units as T1 and T3. Personal opinion, of course.

The FA Units feel really, really out of place. Its my understanding you intend to replace all of them. Is that accurate? It'd make for a much more coherent game.

Adjacency seems to be very clunky for me. It doesn't work with Mass Fabricators or any generators higher than T1. Bug, unfinished, or intended?

The tooltips on the research tree really need polish. "Particular T2 land units" is way too broad. When I invest my resources in something, I'd like to know what I'm getting off the bat, not after trial and error.

The design of your original units, or updated FA versions, is superb. You have a knack for making cool looking units that match the original art-style. Your new features are really cool. I really appreciate that you aren't trying to turn this into SupCom1, but a true SupCom 2. Thanks for that.

I do find the rockets on the Marauder to be a tad underwhelming visually compared to a lot of the other Recycled upgrades. The gameplay of it is very cool though.

Still don't quite understand Zhukov's concept. Not saying its a bad one, but he seems to be the Russian General with the least revealed stuff. I mean, he gets the Topal, but what else? Wolfgang is going to be fun. A more aggressive take on the ECA, with a lot of throwbacks to WWII era German armor (which, despite the source, were a lot of awesome tanks).

I, personally, am most excited for Generals Thorn, Charles, Wolfhang, Wilhelm, Bradley, Sulaymann, Chen and Orlov. I'm getting the impression with Bradley that they're going for less of a heavy armour approach, which I feel would render him too similar to Ironside from Shockwave (whom I quite enjoy), and more of an advanced armor approach. That is, less Mammoth Tank, more Paladin. Its really exciting.
