Yeah I haven't really modded using source engine but it sounds like there is a lot more customization and options for first person. I assume that's because the engine isn't as old along with the fact that first person was never a strong focus for battlefront.

I appreciate the feedback. However, I don't know if any of these are possible or I may need more clarification.

1st question: I'm not sure this is possible assuming you want to keep the models the same but slightly move them to the right so they're not in the players face. The issue is that it would no longer be connected to the players hand since the first person view for units and weapons are separate. I could adjust the player hand in the FPM files for each unit but there are a few issues with that. 1st it would over complicate a process of installation and use that wouldn't be warranted since the warped weapon models alone would look better 2nd. It just wouldn't look as good especially if the weapon is changed to the secondary the hand will be way to much to the right and it will look weird. also I would need to create new first person/high resolution msh files for secondary weapons for units that have a new hand.

2nd question: I created this mod in response to a Reddit post concerning the weapons in first person mode. There was another solution posted about adjusting the field of view this would be applicable to all modded sides. However, this would need to be adjusted every match which is a pain hence why I made this mod. Simple answer probably not unless the mod developer implements my fixed weapon source files into their mod however you do have the field of view option.

Yeah I wouldn't mind! Tbh it's kinda just eye trickery. I warped the back of the high rez weapon msh file to the right but increased its size in softimage to make it seem like its still on your shoulder but not clipping through your face. Give me time and I'll upload the source files. If others think the mod can be improved please do its not perfect for example: the rebel rocket launcher and chaingun could use some improvement and the cis rocket launcher is missing the dynamic scope line because I had trouble exporting it.

Is it possible to replace the default turbo laser tower with the clone wars version not the laser canon but the turbo laser tower that kills echo in the citadel arc I thought it was a cool design and it's a shame we never see it used in any other star wars property.

Thats wierd I totally removed their second weapon and tested switching the weapons for both heros and I had no problem did you download any mods that could have possibly conflicted with this one? also did you completely delete the previous version before you installed this one

Yah Im working on my own version with a new sky box improved lighting and fixed sounds but it has xwing's since I cant find any B-wing files all I need to do is add new heros and add some quality of life improvments im keeping the sides default bc I hate it when there is an awsome looking map but the sides are all changed cough cough umbara shadow forest 1.0 still cant find a working 0.9 cough cough

Maby, this version of the skydome was based on the begining scene of hidden enemey from the clone wars I kinda wanted to mix it up from other christophsis maps. Also I think someone said in a video that this skydome is just the hoth skydome (it isnt I used my own custom skydome)
