A day in Fakteur

Today we are going to detail Fakteur's way of functioning. Be careful, you will have to follow. The game evolves around three stages for each day, during a all week long. Are you good ?

    1) The office

The office will be your place of reflection. Alone in front of those letters, you will have to read understand and choose those you will deliver or not. Each letters will have an impact on Fakteur's characters. Your game experience will evolve from this office. Each player will have his own experience through Fakteur.

    2) The open world

It is right there ! You control the road on which the postman is riding. It's in a randomly generated world that you will ride and decide to deliver the mail or not.

But... There's always a but, the characters to whom you will not deliver the mail, will disappear along with their environment.

3) The characters zone

Each character will have his own zone, with its environment. It is in those zones that you will see and hear the consequences of your choices in the game. You will be able to ride through it, watch the environment, deliver the mail in person and listen to what the inhabitants will have to say to you.

During seven days, you will have to choose, deliver, and be confronted to the consequences of your choices. You will be able to save your progress of restart from the beginning. The experience through the game is renewable for there are many possibilities. Your choices on the second day will lead to lead to different choices on the following days.

Fakteur is a project born from a very simple question:

"If you could turn bad news into good news, would you do it? Could you live with the consequences of such a lie?"

Indeed in Fakteur, you embody a nice mailman living in a happy paper world who has the possibility to read and alter the mail he delivers. The inhabitants - as well as their environment - evolve, depending on the content of the mail they receive.

The game has two phase of gameplay. A first phases of exploration in a third-person view in which you will cover the roads to deliver the mail. A second phase of puzzle, where you will be able to alter this mail.
So, will you choose to remain passive in front of the bad news that will strike the citizens of this happy paper world, or will you take advantage of your position and try to make their life easier?
