No, it's for Windows as well, in fact, I believe there isn't even a Linux version, it's worth downloading though.

I thought this mod was absolutely spectacular in the beginning, but after an hour it became hideously repetitive, it's so damn boring.
Please add more features, objectives, guns, anything.
Zombie Master is less repetitive than this.

ZOMBIE MASTER FOR ****'S SAKE.

I sincerely hope that if they do make a zombie mall that they keep it small and low profile, I've had enough of that cliche, it's tiring and NOT fun to play in.

I removed this immediately after one game.
I don't understand, how does this make Company of Heroes more realistic? All it did was turn it in a unit massing spam fest like Command & Conquer, all the strategy was sucked out. Certain tanks are way overpowered, and the new units range from being totally useless, to ridiculously pumped up.

Playing a multiplayer game over LAN, it was simply no different in relation to the singleplayer, it still had no strategy. Before I left the game, I asked him why he had a recommended such a awkward mod to me, and he answered with "It makes the game more intense." I'm sorry, but that's not the way I felt, I felt that CoH had been downgraded and everything that made it original and interesting was removed.

And it's not saying mods like these are impossible to apply to CoH without retaining its best features. InfantryMod works perfectly fine, and it still has a very level influence when it comes to strategy.

This is a okay game, a 7/10.
It tries to mix RPG elements with action with both are just lax, it's not as in depth as System Shock 2, but it's not as adrenaline pumping or exciting as Half-Life 2 or FarCry. It goes for the middle ground and succeeds, but not in the way it wanted to. If you can get over the niggling bugs, the bad translations and somewhat lackluster story, it's a fine game. It'll keep you busy, but a lack of polish, poor optimization, and gameplay that just grows more and more tiresome as the game goes on, it seems strange that STALKER still seems to hold some ground at the end of the game, although barely.

The developers should have realized that taking bare minimum RPG elements and a lack of interesting side quests or activities and combining it with generic action and free form gameplay would NOT translate to a long lasting enjoyable experience. STALKER's gameworld is not the most entertaining to explore, nor is it extremely well crafted, for a game that's supposedly modeled after a real world area (Chernobyl, for those who don't know, after it's been plastered all over the game's hype) the areas don't seem very realistically constructed, with repeating prefabs and annoying junctions in towns and outposts that just serve to assert that the surroundings are hardly as interesting as they can be.

The game's best feature, unfortunately, does not lie in its gameplay, but instead in the dynamic lighting. It's surely a sight to behold, but it's a candle in the vast darkness compared to the outdated quality of the rest of the graphics. And as we all know, an interesting graphical feature CANNOT save average gameplay, and in that regard, STALKER barely serves up what the developer's promised, or not at all, depending on your expectations.

Wait for more patches, wait for the price to drop, for all the praise people are throwing on this game they fail to realize that it just can't stack up to other shooters currently out on the market, buying this for $40 when there are far more superior games for even cheaper is a waste of money. This is a worthy purchase, but not in the window of the market.

This is going to be absolutely fantastic if the teasers, music, and screens say anything. I cannot wait. Half-Life Source was just a little improvement, this is the overhaul I was really hoping for, great job guys.

I'm downloading it right now, I hope that I can find populated servers, it's pretty tough for newer mods. Anyways, it looks great, nice concept, and I'm not worried about the map count, if the mod is good then it'll be entertaining more maps can come later, take your time.

After I played this for a few days, I was very satisfied, what you have here is so far an excellent product.
But there are some things that need work.

For one, the Zombie Master controls are still quite awkward, despite their alteration in the 1.02 patch. I really wish there was a wider variety of weapons as well, you wouldn't have to stray to from the "civilian level" weaponry that's being used right now in order to expand the arsenal. I also really ask that you guys consider heavily working on the zombie AI. Once that's been perfected, I think it would be safe to remove that ZM "Exploder" feature that destroys barricades, since a strategy I found useful is just using Shamblers to knock away barricades.
That would make the ZM have to apply a lot more strategy, instead of just having easy solutions to everything. Most of the time, a ZM doesn't play poorly because the human team is good, but because he can't hardly use his zombies as he wishes to.

My usual strategy when playing as ZM is to spam zombies nearby player populated areas, or around objectives so the humans can't get them. This works to a certain degree, but I mostly only ever directly order my zombies around in order to clog up escape passages or narrow alleyways or to trap humans within buildings (or to order Banshees after a human hiding in some ridiculous spot somewhere).

And this is probably more related to the maps people put out, but I also think that the objectives for a certain area need to be more clear, especially what is required, players now rely on memory for objectives, not an easy to read briefing. But as I said before, that's usually the map maker's ordeal.

Otherwise, it's coming along extremely well for a beta. For a mod so low under the radar, this is doing fantastically.

Like it a lot.

The screens, the idea, and the story are all really cool, keep it up.

It definitely is cool, but I wonder how many of you children realize this is prerended, and I wonder how many of you are going to have heart attacks when you realize it's both an adventure game and that this isn't going to be moving around.
