I don't think Bezerkers would fit very well with the Alpha Legion, just due to their sneaky nature and Bezerkers being...less than subtle.

Minimal GARDIN systems, coupled with the fact that it would have to divert attention between the cruiser and the fighters. can't do both without risking system overload, which is bad. very, very bad

It is an effective counter to small groups, is effective at picking of stragglers and can be used to intercept rouge missiles (unless they also come in a swarm)

One ship can't take on a swarm of fighters on a 3-D plane of combat, Espescially not a frigate, regardless of crew or equipment. It could take down bigger, slower ships with relative ease (until we get into heavy cruisers). but a large group of fighter-bombers will overwhelm it.

ever heard of sensary overload? They hunt in packs, might get a few. but the rest will bring you down

Have you ever seen a fighter swarm? Cerberus has advanced tactics and would plan for all eventualities, it might be possible, with the right crew and a lot of luck tough

You seem to have missed the point. Joker avoided the confrontation because of the fighter compliment almost all cerberus cruisers have. I do not doubt that the Thanix would devestate it in under 2 shots. Fighters are a different matter entirely.

The Cerberus fighters are agile and difficult to destroy and pack a big punch. The cruiser might be easy to kill, but in a direct engagement against the full compliment of escort fighters? no chance

the Normandy, even with Joker, is not a armada destroying, reaper smashing Hulk.

It would struggle to take on a Cerberus Cruiser.

That would be suicide. The Normandy is good, but against heavier ships it stands no chance
