A few months ago we had the chance to present our game to Casual Connect in the Indie game section, knowing so little about doing game expos we just went ahead and tried it out with 0 experience.

We wrote this article providing some nifty techniques for improving isometric games.
Isometric and top down games do actually need adjustments that are pretty invisible to players, adjustments that actually make a big difference in graphics, especially for tall objects.
In this post we show how we tilt objects to give a better illusion for tall objects such as buildings or lamp posts. This technique is also used in other games like for instance in "The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds".
