Since AmnesiaFan47 got banned from MODDB, I guess this is his/her alt account. Anyway, you are such a hypocrite. You said:

This is basically you, you made ****** mods and got praised for it. So basically you contradict yourself. You contributed yourself towards ****** mods and now bash such mods. This is the most hypocritical thing I have ever heard.

Wow what a good mod, I totally disagree with TiManGames review, here is what I have to say:

His review states ''While some maps in the mod feel a bit refreshing and convey interesting ideas which are inspired by the more successful mods, most areas are extremely dark and make it very easy to miss a room or an item.
This results a lack of general guidance, and no - green pointlights on items aren't a good solution.''

I disagree with this person on the grounds that the mod itself is not dark at all, maybe some parts are dark but thats why you have a lantern! If you look careful enough, you wont miss an item or room and yes an important items have a green aura, which contradicts what he said earlier about missing items.

His review states:''Another issue I noticed is that some maps will restart their state after coming back to them. For example, in the manor map I had to move a table that blocks a door, but when I returned to it, the table returned to its original position. This is killing the atmosphere and making the world feel fake.''

This is true, but extremely neat picking, I have played hundreds and hundreds of custom stories and this happens a lot. I never heard anyone complain about this. This is sometimes even advantageous as it resets the map in case things go wrong with puzzles.

His review states:''The environments feel very static without dynamic elements. There's no background sfx at all, and once the background music stops, everything is completely quiet, which kills the atmosphere.''

I dont think he has focused on the ambiance at all. This game had plenty ambiance in almost all locations and sound effects. There are some moments it is silent yes, but that is to increase the intensity of the moment. There are also enough dynamic effects in the game.

His review states:''Also - it's not fun nor scary to be lost in a big maze map with repetitive corridors - it's just frustrating.''

This maze is not even that big. Fair enough, he does not like maze and everyone has his or her own taste. But this ''Maze'' was a very tense moment in the custom story.

His review states:''Some puzzles feel out of place and make little sense, such a lever puzzle you randomly need to pull to open a locked door for no apparent reason, or some of them are just copy-pasted from the main game. These are just lazy and are not well-thought, in my opinion.''

This point is fair enough, however this is just such a minor thing in the custom story.

His review states:''One of the most obscure things I noticed is that some items cannot be picked up until the game tells you need them. This might make sense in our real world, but it's a bad practice for gameplay design - you just make the player go back and forth for no actual reason other than making them feel like the gameplay is longer, which isn't really true.''

Again this is up to anyone's taste, apparently TiManGames likes to live in a fantasy world and does not like to use his/her brain. The Eureka moments I got when there was a puzzle with a missing item that I noticed earlier are something I really enjoy. This separates people who just play the custom story and people who are really invested into what the developer created.

The rest of his/her points about the voice acting and story telling are fair enough.

Lastly a small point, his review states:''Also, what's up with the very low bitrate stock music that every horror video on youtube uses? I'm talking about HGA_scare_music.ogg''

This is a bit of a stupid statement. What else do you expect them to use? A full orchestra directed by them? Copyrighted music? At least they used some different music than the main amnesia ones.

All in all, I think TiManGames' review is biased and I dont think he/she actually paid attention while playing. I suggest he/she sticks then to the copy paste vanilla amnesia custom stories instead of playing custom stories which the developer transformed into his or her own project.
