Just finished redoing the textures on the gun because of some odd lines appearing on the texture (which is hard to see in the video, but very visible in game). Its mostly the same however I've made the metal a blueish tint and I've added a few more details here and there. Normal maps are all good now but I can't seem to get the phong working correctly. Lastly I've fixed the clipping issue with part of the rear sight.

Thanks :), everything in the video itself is a bit choppy due to fraps so everything in game is a lot smoother.

The white is what I was going for. However I'm probably going to add a little more grey to some areas.

Thanks. Like my response to your comment on the SMG, detail will be added via textures considering our goal is to be simple and low poly.

The magazine goes under the rail, think of it as a P90. The top rail lifts up like an m249 would. I may put some sort of holo sight on this too. Most details will be added with textures considering our goal is to be simple and low poly with the weapons.

I never implied that at all, I haven't been gaming or hanging out often not due to the mod, its due to having loads of school work and my cert 3. Which is clearly more important right now than modding.

Oh and you said this: "Well I wouldn't take kindly if someone who I count on with something said he wants to finish Skyrim first." Implying that we want to finish skyrim before working on the mod again.

Wow, I have to say I'm surprised how this news post turned out, so let me just state some facts about why I've not been able to do much work on the mod recently.

1. I have been busy with school work.

2. I have been very busy with my Certificate 3 in Basic 3D Animation, I have one month left to complete a rather large assignment.

3. I do have a life so excuse me if I want to hang out with my mates or play a game once and a while.

FYI I haven't even touched skyrim for over a week. I'm lucky if I've had 4 hours of game time through out the entire week.
I have still been getting mod work done. I'm shocked to see some people think we have should no lives and dedicate our entire life to working on a mod.

Don't forget, we do this for FUN and for FREE. So please show a little respect for us.

Now to everyone supporting us I would like to thank you for being patient and understanding about the progress slowing a bit.

Also @shadowflar3 No one said anything about finishing Skyrim before working on the mod.

Hey all, I apologise for my absence but as its been said before I've been hard at work on my school work and cert 3. Good news however, I'm close to finishing my cert 3 :) after that my work on the mod will continue. Again I'm sorry for my absence, I really want to get an update out for you guys but sadly I almost never have time. Whenever I get time I work on the mod as much as I can. I've almost finished the assault rifle, all that's needed on it are sounds and muzzle flash positions. I'm also coding a small secret feature for the weapons. Even Kevin has no idea what it is :D Update will hopefully be soon. Thank you all for your patience.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a bit of a status update. I've completed the animations for the assault rifle, however I haven't gotten it in game yet. I've been very busy with school work and a cert3 course in animation which I've been focusing on. I can guarantee that once I've finished it my work on the mod will resume at a faster pace. I plan to try and get the assault rifle in game today when I have free time.

For starters, this is a mod meant to be fun. Not realistic.

Secondly, calm down? We're not angry, upset or anything, I'm not sure how we would calm down if we're already calm :\ .

And we have got our own style and are sticking to it. This is ONE room and is heavily WIP. I know where your getting standard factory from. But this is an engineering room, of course its going to seem factory like.

Halo is also a rather bad example, most of the buildings in Halo are very bland, empty and factory like.

Regarding the downranking, whoever did that is doing the wrong thing, no one should vote down your comments. You have good points. However as we said before we have to politely decline the changes you suggested.

You do realize that this mod takes place on a ship/station in space right?

By the way, he does NOT refuse to see your point, he clearly see's your point and even politely declines the changes you suggested, which is very nice as a number of people from my experience would just ignore you or just tell you how wrong you are from their perspective in a rude manner.

One main reason the maps are a more simple and non complex design is to fix any frame rate issues on older computers as much as possible. That and its the mod's style to be simplistic.

I do however see what you mean by needing some warning signs and such, I will certainly talk to Kevin about that and see what we can do.

Also please don't forget this is a WIP! Prop placement and such will most likely be changed.
