I think it's because of the update that Gearbox released a while back. It broke most (if not all) mods that were released for HW: Remastered.I don't think any mods work for HW:R at the moment.

They're working on all 3 mods at the same time, and their priority is Stargate: Space Conflict. They have yet to update us on Mass Effect: Reborn & Battlestar Galactica: Fleet Commander.
We don't know how the mods will be available, they may be Steam exclusives (which would suck, a lot of people would miss out) or they may be posted on their appropriate mod pages. We just have to wait and see.

Ah man... I was following this mod for ages and I was hyped for the demo that releases tomorrow... But I just found out it's a Steam exclusive...
I can't get Steam mods to work for my game since I don't have the Steam version.. Is there any way I could still get the demo? I love you guys and have been playing every single mod you guys have released. I would be so happy if there was an alternate way some people could download the demo tomorrow.
If not, I would still like to say thanks, you have managed to kill many hours of my boredom with your fantastic work.

Amazing mod, was playing for ages.
However, my ROTWK (pirated hehe) had a virus so I was forced to delete it.
Does this mod not work with the base game?

Constant crashes mid-game for no reason, Settings don't save properly, texture glitches/maps don't load properly. Combat is great.. It's just the actual mod itself that lets it down.

Obviously other people were involved in translation and other aspects of the modification.
+ I don't aim to say they didn't do anything or barely did anything.
I understand it may of been hard work but what they don't understand is that Erayser sat there and insulted me.
It may not seem that way but it's embarassing and it was only because I posted a 1/10 review.
I sent Phoenix a PM trying to resolve the situation, but they haven't replied.
I sent the message like 4 hours ago I think.
It also may not seem humiliating for you lot, but it is for me.
Especially when everyone on ******* ModDB is targeting me for being an angry nerd with a **** PC lol.

☑ Interface finished - I give credit for the interface. It's rather impressive and gives the mod more of an edge.

☑ Sun Flare - Not necassarily finished. Improvements could be made, especially due to the fact that the sun shines through the ships.

☑ OpenGL32 system - About 40% of people that downloaded the mod probably didn't install the OpenGL version of the mod. Slight waste of time if you ask me.

☑ Balancing done - Ironic how this is one of the checkboxes, yet this is one of the most complained about issues e.g. AI builds too many dreadnoughts.

☑ Quotation system - I noticed a flaw in this feature. Apostrophe's actually show up as question marks (?) for me. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this.

☑ Translations (Russian, German, Italian, Spanish, French)
- Erayser was apparently struggling with this translations and I do believe not all of them were finished to the extent that they was supposed to of been finished to.

Anyway I'm not going to go through the whole list.
Yes overall it's an okay mod, but it's not fantastic.
The release could of been better but I know there will be updates for the modification that will probably make a significant difference.
P.S Again with the quoting? Okay..

I said people who worked a little on the mod spoke to me.

I never began "ripping them" I posted a bad review.
Then they started getting all bitchy, so I did aswell.
Simple.
+ There's barely any ******* improvements from the pre-alpha anyway, the models lighting fx has changed and the animations have been put in, and the maps + a user interface.
I can play the pre-alpha much better than the latest release, which says something.
Therefor, the amount of time they made people wait is APPALLING and I have actually spoken to some people that did small work on the mod and they even have said it sucks.
I'm by far not the only person who's complaining.
Most people are too scared because either you lot or Phoenix will batter them for being "honest".

Yeah the AI in Homeworld 2 was built to attempt to match the players own fleet.
For example, if you're building heavy ships, or tons of small ships, the AI will attempt to match your fleet (By firepower).
Phoenix claim they want to work on a new AI but I guarantee it will take like 10 years to get released lol c:

Some of us waited SO long and once the mod (finally) came out, half of us were either having problems running the mod or frame rate problems.
+ Yes, it should be near "100%". Didn't Phoenix say, and I quote, "We want a great/fantastic first release" LOL.
Ironic how they say it's fantastic and great, yet half of us can't even get the mod to work properly (And I say that on behalf of the people with high end computers, so your point about people needing to upgrade their PC is just ******* stupid).
"Third, this mod is not going to work in old computers" Yeah, if we all knew BEFORE HAND we probably wouldn't be posting **** reviews and bashing Phoenix about it.
We got no information about system requirements, or anything like that.
We was told there would be an Open GL enhancement, but that's about it really.
And if people want to vote down this comment simply because I'm bashing Phoenix about a, well in my opinion, "Bad Modification" then you guys are pretty much bumsucks.

I understand you worked hard on the mod, but what the hell? Kind of out of order to show "Hey look at these two ***** posting **** reviews because their computers suck ****!"
I actually posted a 10/10 review before, but once I played the game and the frame rate was bad, I became ANNOYED. I waited all day and night for the mod just to find out it doesn't run well for me.
I am obviously going to post a **** review, especially since I gave my laptop specs to Erayser and he didn't say I would have trouble running it or so on.
I was really happy to see the mod flourish, but clearly Phoenix enjoys bashing their community once they have turned against them.
A review is there for a REASON. I stated WHY I gave it a 1/10.
I didn't say "THE MOD SUCKS. ARGH. TERRIBLE. I COULD OF DONE IT MYSELF IN LIKE A MONTH. SO ****." or anything? I said it was a SELFISH MOVE.
You guys forgot about the classic Homeworld players who have old PC's, and decided to pimp up the textures as highly as possible, JUST TO TRY AND GET GOOD REVIEWS ABOUT "GRAPHICS"?
Making a.. Well, not "ugly" but not very "pretty" game look "amazing" is a good job. But I did ask if I would be able to run it, and I wasn't told I would get that much trouble trying to play it.
I'm actually shocked they've tried to batter me for posting a bad review. Games/mods are bashed all the time for reasons like "not working" and things like that.
