Check Voobly.com, you can take the Voobly files and just use them for the 1.5 patched version of the game. There is only version 1.24 on voobly although, couldn't update to the last one, bacesuse exceed 100MB. All files of this mod in Voobly are 130MB, and language.dll is instead in language.ini format.

Major changes in the next update. It has been a change in population recruitment. Now all the barrack, archery and stable units will need house population. On the other side, unique units now will need mercenary population (increased by building camps).

This is fantastic, I never thought would see an Albanian faction!!!

The only thing I could add to this masterpiece, is that Stradioti is the name given by the italians to albanian light cavarly (kalores), they were universal cavalry with bow, spear and sword, and their tactics were like the Chevauchée.

If you could fix the head gear, to be more like an albanian plis would be great.

The reason the blue player won, was because of flaming arrows. Flaming arrows in this mod have bonus attack against all wooden structure. This later become the only reason to go archer line, after they are no match against late range units.

Hwacha was chinese, turtle ship was korean, yes, i know that, but ... Korea was vassal of China most of the medieval era, so I mixed them both.
There is no geopolitical reason after this decission trust me, just needed room for other factions. Nearly the same thing happen with Mayas in this mod.

A game/mod has 3 phases:

1. Ideas and features that can be included, units, factions, research etc.
2. Balance of the game, so you can have a decent playing with each faction, and they differ from each other.
3. Bug fix and polish, usually these are for beta testing before release.

The current state of the mode is in end of phase 3, and thx to everyone who played in Voobly.com, helped me balance and fix a lot of bugs.

Still I'm open for new ideas, but not for the deep modifying ones, it will be like starting from scratch at this point.

You are mistaking south slavs with serbs, and in the 10 century they conquered most of Albanian territories on the north, but not Shkoder, Scutari or as you call Skadar, there are no remains of any Orthodox churches in Shkoder, it always was Catholic, and never will be slavic.

Historically the jannisary were christian children of noble families from the Balkan (slavs, albanian or greeks) and they were masters in many type of weapons (sword, bow, gun, halberd etc) but in this mod, my only graphic is for jannisary gunners. Today there are still remaining families that supplied the jannisary and later the personal guard of the Sultan.

I actually don't know how AOE4 is doing, because for me is a total failure, AOE2 DE is way better, and things I hate are:
1. Unit graphics, especially weapons.
2. Arrows never miss.
3. Bad copy of AOE2.
4. Relic made one of the worst jobs on a game, didn't include some of their good mechanics of preview work.
5. Trying to replace AOE2 just few months after the DE release.
6. Civilization too few and repetitive.
7. Heroes like Age of Mythology, in a historical game.
etc etc
All these thing noticed just before release, and I will not try that game ever.

Next update:

1. Wild animals will be more powerful
2. Villagers start with more HP
3. Sheep and Cow can now be purchased in Market (request in the comment)
4. Levies unit's are effected by Loom research.
5. Camp building are available since game start.
6. New building: Command Tower, with 8 more research to chose.

and some bug fix.

The right ship is a cog, and the middle ship is a Holk, or tower cog, but the left one need to be redone, there is no way a ship like that could function.

Anyway, very good work guys, you really are the best, and an inspiration for medieval time fans.

Thank you for posting here!
1. Noble Camp tent can't be normally build without deleting Noble Caravan Camp unit. If you use the Scenario Editor and directly build the camp, than a villager will spawn next to it.
2. Conquistadores or conquerors were not a specific unit, like lancers, pikeman, swordsman etc, but a Knight that went for conquest in the new world. Youtube.com. Almogavars on the others side, were a light infantry units used in all Iberia.
3. I will check the El Cid campaign, I will see what I can do.

Can you please contribute to improve the mod and write about the bugs. You can do it in the forum, or just write here in this page.
About the campaigns of the vanilla game, to modify them for this mod is very time consuming and when I edit them, sometimes the game doesn't recognise the changes and crush. This is a known isues, that's why I turned to make the mod more playable in PVP.

Very good initiative, the original mod you are working on has very good features. I still think there is room for improvement, for example:

- Is it possible to add armor and weapon refine like in the Viking Conquest?
- Can you add a blacksmith to forge armor and weapons for money or materials?
- Can you add the option to somehow make your own unit tree when creating new faction?

The Aztecs really have only units train in castles, but their castle cost only 900 stone, as a standard castle cost 360W + 2700S. The Aztec faction doesn't need to research in blacksmith to train their units, their units are way more flexible, faster, and the Aztec player are very powerful in feudal-castle age.
