I am 14 years old, Still in School ('-'). I love playing strategy games like RTWII, MTWII, RTW, RTWBI, ETW (Also Napoleonic Expansion) and RTWIIA. Basically everything that has to do with the native Rome Total War.

Heyo! I love the look of this mod as I just started playing it

Would you help me with something? I want to use an arrow keys keyboard instead of the current WASD one, is it possible to change that and how?


And I tweaked the launch.bat of the mod because it wasn't starting the mod, does that affect any core files or anything? (Ignore if you left it as a default for us to use xd)

Wow, nice work, reading the details and I'm just amazed. Good job guys, the mechanics are amazing and the only surprise left are the textures and the overall small bugs we might find. But keep your hopes up, I'm sure many are hyped to see another mod that can continue the La Aigle scheme.

There's one thing that's really bugging is that the text size and form in the game is just eye-bugging, It's big and overall just too much. If you could find a way to replace that with 1257AD or ACOK text form and size that would be great, because this one just doesn't fit the "view" in my opinion.

OK, so there is a texture problem with the Yukishinota & the Hishinui armor, they just lose their texture and appear as some mingled stripe-lines with brown, grey, red, etc. colors. It happens when I click an Item and drag it to my slot, it just changes suddenly whenever I pick the item.

My game crashes when I fight an army on the map, it doesn't crash when I enter city taverns or walk around but when I fight on the map it crashes.

Game keeps crashing even with WSE. Lots of textures missing, a lot of crashes.

Is this developer even dealing with these?

When I play the game there are a lot of textures missing (they all show up as white) and only a few are correct. I don't really know the trouble with this but when I played the Native Gekokujo I didn't have this problem.

Well, I surely know that during the Sengoku Period after the arrival of the Portuguese in 1543, the first clans that contacted these weapons were those who held key ports, such as the Otomo and Tokugawa clan.

Well, gameplay-wise, the implementation of cannons, would kind of hinder hand-to-hand combat, something which surely we both agree on.
If you add them by any 0.1% chance, make them costly and give them maintenance upkeep (you know, money for the crew, cannonballs, powder, etc), so the player cannot get these at a earlier stage, but at a much more evolved one.

Same way goes if you don't add them at all, I and many other fans of this soon to come mod, will surely be most pleased with just muskets. :)

I wouldn't suggest implementing the Stamina option, it's really unstable and it can create hell of a lot of problems, i.e "Brytenwalda".

What about cannons? I don't know which Century you are prioritizing, but it's definitely sure than during the 16th Century (1543) after the arrival of the Portuguese, the Japanese made a much better use of cannons, Light cannons mostly though.
I don't expect cannons to be added, since it's kinda really hard to implant their functions and scripts, but if you did that, it'd be ******* awesome.
And will you consider allowing the player to build businesses in towns according to Trade skill.
For example, Trade Skill 2 = 1 Business, Trade Skill 6 - 2 Businesses, Trade Skill 10 - 3 Businesses.
I also hope you add decapitation mod, it would only make it more realistic due to the Masterful Japanese craftsmanship of the Sword due to their lack of Iron in their Peninsula (of course, the mod being optional as on/off).

Now the most important thing I want to tell you about, is the War Minister. I find it really annoying that I can only choose "Melee" or "Ranged" units to train, could you add like "Equally split" (Half Melee, Half Ranged).
And could you make patrols not to go too far away from Villages and Towns, I've seen some patrols that go far away from their assigned Towns or villages and it's really annoying because they just keep chasing. Could you add some kind of a "radar" to how far they can go?
Last of all, could you allow Party Member to read books to gain skills?

Either way, thank you, I really love these Japanese mods, I'm currently playing Gekokujo and I've seen a lot of things which were quite annoying such as the ones mentioned before and I would hope you could use the available options from this year to full effectiveness.

Also, I'd like to advise you regarding the Map display, make sure that the Terrain fits with the actual geographical sight of Japan (as near as possible), because, although there will be great mechanics in the game, everybody would enjoy a little aesthetic view of their Empire and lands ;)

I also have a problem. At the Additional Campaign (The Crusades), whenever I conquer a Islamic City, I'm not able to build a Church in it even after I destroy the Mosque!
Is this a game part or maybe there's a bug problem here? Supposedly you should know about that.

And one other thing, if you don't manage to make this Mod mod-foldered you can consider it a failed project, if you can't do that then don't bother even trying. It's errors are everywhere and I had to uninstall my entire game because of your stupid BETA, which shouldn't even be a BETA but a Completely Unstable mod.

There is a problem, when I train the Athinoi Hoplitai (I'm playing the greeks) and ENTER a battle, I zoom in to them and then the game just FREEZES and a ERROR message pops up. Now I don't know but I think it's a texture problem, but once I get the ERROR message's description I'll post it here.

P.s You guys have to find a way to make this MOD mod-foldered or you just destroy every chance for the player of this mod to install other mods and experience new things!

There is a problem, I did as you asked, put the banner in on one of the other banners in "banners_a.dds", but when I start the game, it has some kind of a RGL error.
it says - Unable to open file: Modules/Diplomacy/Resource/std_banners.brf
P.s I am playing the Diplomacy mod, but since the mod says it's compatible with the native game itself, then I thought it would cause no problem.

P.p.s Nevermind I think it was actually a mod I used before it's the "Better Banners" mod, but since I didn't like the "FADE" effect, I removed it, it seems not completely.

I just want to ask, will you make this mod playable in Barbarian Invasion. I do have the Alexander, but it's really time consuming to install since I removed it years ago.

Sorry for so much requests, but why do Macedonian generals all have Alexander's texture, I mean in the Alexander expansion generals had their own texture, why didn't you just take it from them? Instead of making all the generals have a Alexander texture.

Plus, why the hell are the Gauls (Arvenians) units in such a irregular formation, I mean historically Gauls knew how to make square or line formation. I mean they had great culture (besides going berserk) but their warfare wasn't so low, I mean all the units seem to have just some sphere formation and that's it. Do you have some kind of script to change their formations like normal cultures such as Roman, Carthaginian or Greek.
