I like mapping with the crengine1 editor.
Completed FarCry mod, El_Abestos.
WIP mod, El_Camino. On hold atm.
Current project, Abandoned Town mod. Due out mid 2019.
Nothing done except for Respawn1.
This is my first map made from scratch. El_Abestos was a modification, the terrain and a lot of the objects were already done.
I imported a heightmap for the El_Camino terrain, I'm hoping I won't need a lot of *flatten and *smooth later on.
The Far Cry maps I admire the most, like Railway and Past Attacks, had a storyline and a big fat mission.lua. So I hope that will make up for using eleven year old brushes from the cryengine1. I would really like to use my own textures and objects, maybe my own scripts if I can learn how. So at this stage I plan on El_Camino being a MOD.
I set myself a deadline of one month for my first map, I will take more time with this one, and have some fun along the way.
There are not a lot of players for FarCry 1 anymore, only a small dedicated group. This map will be for them.

Past Attacks? Come on! Really? The story was pretty crappy. :D
