Game review

I'm not really sure what's with the dumb comments like "An era behind" and "Unnecessary micromanagement" when this game is still in its infancy and is about a settlement catering to heroes in an Anti or Reverse RPG way.

Is it because people on the internet are more social than those offline? Or is it because you guys need to see Minecraft or Dwarf Fortress or another major indie success so you'd give it raving reviews and wish its creators a happy glorious life(Not to mention the obvious elevation to deity status of its key public figure) when the game didn't even get installed on your computers.

The creators of this game are on a good path, they're trying to be unique but they're not all out and in your face because they actually listen to suggestions and comments and do care about what their fans or players have to say.

We bitched and moaned about the painful interface and the crooked AI, we told them about their programming errors and some mistakes and still... They've listened and didn't leave us like some who shall not be named (Independent and Major developers mind you).

This is Dwarf Fortress for those who can't stand ASCII characters("art"?), this is a game where you're not overwhelmed for many days and finding the game's wiki with a single purpose: To mock you.

I know that they'll prove everyone wrong, so I'm raising a glass to Towns and its team knowing that in a few years, it will make you regret judging an alpha version of a game too harshly.

PS: I dare you NOT to find worse games whether in game play or design, it is easy to criticize and be harsh but difficult to stand up and be helpful and of some use)
