Oh hell yeah! I just might finish the game after all those years after all. I don't need fancy graphics and whatnot, but this level of repetitiveness is too much even for me. Thanks for your work. This game is a flawed gem.

How does this mod affect checkpoints? The single reason I've never ever finished this game were endless chases whenever I hit a checkpoint. It completely took away all the fun I've had with this game and there wasn't even way around it. No matter what I did, the enemies miraculously caught up with me and I was forced to take them out, just to hit another ones 5 minutes later. The mod description states that it affects patrols, but I'm not sure how and whether it's enough to make the game playable with the tediousness in checkpoints.
So the 10.7 is still a release candidate or is it just a mistake in file name? I'm wondering if I should get 10.6 or this 10.7 to get more stable game.
Really? Who would've guessed that a mod is dead after 3 years since last update.
Before Warband was released and everyone played original M&B one of the biggest complaints from modders was that the game had limited memory and crashed when the limitation was surpassed which made many mods unplayable. Even before Warband was released 2gb of ram was way too small to play total conversions mods. Just start saving up for some better PC.
It's just a lot more popular that's why I found it so interesting. Great many devs who want to version their projects don't ever think on anything else than those two VCSs. I'm not saying it was wrong decision. I'm not in the place the do so. I was just being curious.
Stupid question but why did you guys go with SVN instead of Git or Mercurial?
Any chance of this having custom troop tree for player kingdom? If I'm gonna have my own Necropolis might as well go all the way and replace vanilla troops with something that more matches the undead theme for my slav.. oh I mean vassals.
To me this only proves that there's no hope left. It's not even 2 years since the reboot came out and they already announced second game. Only shows how much they care about the franchise.
Oh, my bad. Yea in actual campaign map this would be pretty cool :)
I'm not dev but I think it would just make them hover over the land as is the case with speeders instead of truly flying even if not the starfighters would be way too fast for the small M&B maps. Also I can't imagine trying to aim on fully accelerated tie fighter from land and doing any damage with blaster rifles.
I'm having some serious lag spikes when enlisted in army and game speeds up time. I've played many total conversions but never had problems with freelancer before :(
Ok so if I understand it correctly this mod was abandoned in 2014 and then some guy took over and started some sort of spin-off of this mod with different name which he after 2 years of development but no stable release abandoned himself just so he could start another spin-off under different name once again and was never heard from since?
According to what devs said on forums, if player sides with Gondor he should help Rohan first and then with their armies help out Gondor against Mordor. Apparently it makes sense lore-wise so I don't think it's getting "fixed".
Well, if somebody told me a week ago that SWC is getting revived I wouldn't have believed it for a second. Thanks for doing this. Even when its just buggy nightly builds its good that its being developed again.
Alright, just being curious. Best of luck :)
Since when are beta testers working on code? Did he start expanding team or something?
Why would it be final release? Most recent update was merely 2 months ago. Seems pretty active development to me.
I'd swear this was on indiedb under different name. Anyways looks great :)
Thanks a lot it sure got my question answered :). I kept nightly release from march because it was very stable and only rarely crashed but newer version already has custom camera feature implemented which is awesome and good enough reason for me to update it.
I don't think they are reviving it though because the mod didn't die in the first place. I mean its getting patches pretty frequently. Amazing how they keep it alive after all these years.
Seems like he's onto something after all.

I don't believe it till I see it though.
Btw I don't care if its buggy or laggy as mentioned in FAQ. I'll take anything over how it looks now. To me the game is hardly playable when I can barely see my characters shoulders..
Is there any way to make camera go lower? It's way too high when playing as dwarf.
Really sad. When it came out it was #1 on moddb, mentioned in various news articles, got huge recognition just to die out after one little hotfix.
For that somebody would have to patch the mod. Considering that its been more than year I doubt that's gonna happen ..
99% of total conversion mods are more demanding.
1) yes
2) not from this guy, only if somebody else forks it.
