Gun file name? I've been searching pretty hard for this one in the games files but can't find it. There's just so many guns! :)

What is this gun's name in the game files? Wpn_? I'm testing most of these bad boys but I can't find this one. I'll be asking this question about multiple guns, so bear with me. :)

I have 4 Mosin Nagants. As crude as they are, the only reason you'd ever choose to use one is that you can't find or afford anything else. That, or you're a collector. I can see the merit in them especially in the zone. They'd be available and they shoot widely available ammo. However, I don't really get it when I see people get really excited about them. Unless you're talking about the Finnish variant M-38 or M-39 (which actually made the Mosin into a serviceable rifle), they're garbage. I appreciate every single thing Mp5lng does and every gun he has makes the game more expansive and more lovable. However, the Mosin Nagant blows. Why did I have to say that? I'm such a downer. Sorry everyone lol.

Hey, brother. I noticed you have an Mp5/10 or MP-5 in .40 (straight magazine variant). There's a good chance you guys know this already or aren't concerned about it, but the 10mm and .40 caliber variants actually have bolt hold-open devices and a bolt-release on the left side of the receiver. This was the request of the FBI who were the original customers for this model which was made for a limited amount of time. As a result (like I said, you guys probably already know this), reload animations may want to be modified to reflect the smoother/faster reload process that doesn't require manipulation of the bolt/action itself, but just a simple press of the bolt-release.

The sight-picture is just outstanding. You guys have done such an outstanding job with presentation and feel that I just can't express my sheer excitement. Keep it up. You guys never disappoint and at this point I can hardly even believe the amount of material you're all bringing to the table. Good luck, brother.

You're nuts, man. All this work is breathtaking and I'm sure we can all agree that we can hardly bear the wait. Even so, I'm sure everyone agrees that the longer Misery takes to release, the more guns you'll add. However, I do have ONE, just one suggestion I feel I'm responsible to make. In the last major release of The Armed Zone, the revolver were absolutely beautiful. Even so, I felt they were unusable due to the way recoil was represented. The .357 Magnum, I believe it's titled as a 686, would recoil like it was crazy, pulling off to the sides and making rapid fire a bit of a challenge. While this might make it seem distinctive and representative of the power of a "Magnum" cartridge, it's not representative of how that firearm recoils. I've been shooting a Smith and Wesson model 586 in competition for about 4 years now (same gun, different finish) and even with full power magnum loads, recoil is easy to manage and is sharp and straight up. The L-Frame of that series is heavy and it mitigates recoil easily. As such, I think you should change the gun's recoil so it is neater, but a little sharper; making the gun more usable and closer to its real life counterpart. This should probably be applied to all revolvers in the game- keep the recoil sharper but not crazy and long. It'll make them all more lovable.

Love your work! Makes my life livable on the day-to-day. I hope you agree with me and fix it if you can.

I like your style, Antonius. I agree that to a significant extent, the AK's look better without a whole bunch of stuff attached to them. Even so, sometimes the utility of all of it just makes them more useful. Especially the PSO or POSP scopes, really. Yet, for utility purposes I sill would like the ability to have a Pk-AS, a PK-A, or PK-01, or all of them since the variety makes things so much more enjoyable. I'm just saying ;)

I was referring to the Optical Sight and not the gun. I should have been clear on that. This picture I'll link is what I think SOMEONE should aim at providing. There is a variety of red dot/reflex style sights that are extremely cool and good-looking, in addition to 2 separate PSO scopes, neither of which have that God-awful rubber eye piece on them. Ditch the eye piece, it doesn't need it :)

I've fiddled with those before and, at least when using irons, it's not very comfortable. It's fun, though of course. I think the wire stocks on AK's are a little hard on the eyes compared to the under folders or side-folding skeleton ones. I own a Yugo M70 N-PAP that a friend of mine designed and machined an aluminum alloy skeleton stock for. She's a beauty and right now I have an Aimpoint M68 CCO on her:

I suggest making a simple modification or optional version of this that is different in a very minor way but will make it look much better on screen: make a version without the rubber eye piece. It's unnecessary and I bet the rubber pieces wouldn't survive for long in the zone anyway. That damn eye piece is nothing more than an eye sore and a waste of rubber. Also, maybe I'm posting this in the wrong place, but if you could get a PK-AS and a PK-A (Venezuela Version) in here too then the variation of optics available for the different eastern-bloc firearms will make them much more desirable to utilize. Mostly, I'd like to see a PK-AS, though, because it makes AK's look so sexy. Seriously. Sexy.

Hey, everyone, first let me say that I have not had as much fun with any game I've ever purchased as I have with Stalker COP since you guys started the Misery Mod. It really has had a big impact and keeps me coming back for more time and time again. Beyond that, looking at all the guns, I have to say one thing that I really, really hope doesn't go unnoticed. I know a lot of suggestions keep coming in, but whomever does the weapons modeling needs to go back to the M4A1 and reduce the thickness of the rear sight. As it stands, the M4A1 is almost unusable due to how thick that rear peep is. While it looks good, and is (in reality) similar to what an individual would see when looking at one, due to the way the human eye works (as compared to the game), the thickness blocks too much of the screen and makes it hard to use. It should be thinned out to a thickness similar to that of the LR-300, or close. Additionally, someone needs to unfuck that LR-300 sight so it isn't down at the end of the Picatinny rail because that ****'s retarded. Thanks guys! I'd fix it myself, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to open any of these models in Autdesk Maya 2014.

Same problem. Makes me pretty sad, too :( I read something about FOV, but I don't know if it had to do with this. Is there something we messed up, mp5lng?

The sights on this don't line-up for me correctly. The gun is off-kilter. Is it my fov or something? Gun looks great, but I'd like to be running those target sights. Any suggestions?

I'm very happy you did this. You gave it a unique feel that gives the animation character. I hope you keep working on it and don't get discouraged, as you are showing you know how to make things click. Don't limit yourself, but don't burn yourself out either. My only suggestion is to work on the full-auto recoil a little and make it a little less snappy. Auto fire is a little more shove-like. One you overcome the initial shove of a burst, it becomes fairly easy to run. Good luck!
