It could be a bug, provided the cub is not following you, there is no reason for it not to eat.

I've noticed that sometimes during testing (after the beta release ).

Save and reload to see if it corrects itself.

To be honest I would've loved it to jump higher (that's how cougars are) but when it was able to jump high in the previous beta versions, a lot of people complained that it jumped too high (Maybe they don't know cougars jump that high), so I decided to go with the masses and reduce the jump height.

If you are making something for a lot of people you'll have to consider their outspoken opinions while creating the game.
I hope you understand :-)

Thanks I appreciate that, and I'm glad you feel this way about the game :-D , if I'm making another animal game I'll consider using some of the best models here (Improving them too) like you suggested, but it depends on other factors too.

In the beta version it takes sometime close to 16 in-game days for the cub to grow to an active cub, but I've shortened it in the final version.

The rival male mission isn't made to happen as often as that (It is a bug), but it has also been fixed in the final version, if the mission stresses you out too much, save and reload your game, the mission will stop for a short while and start again.

Your cub will be able to follow faster when they get older, currently they are new-borns and they cannot run yet. I've made caring for them easier at this stage in the final version by making the player able to run when carrying light carcass or cubs.

I will love to make even better animal games (1000 times better than this), but I'm greatly limited by funds (I've developed Untamed:Life of a Cougar with an incredibly small budget), and the only way I'll be able to afford to make another game like this is the performance of Untamed:Life of a Cougar after its final release.

Thanks for your interest, I appreciate it, and don't forget to help spread the word :-)

Thanks for reporting it, you can upgrade your cougar to reduce how it gets hungry.

Go to 'Options' -> 'Character Upgrade'
you will see points earned from killing animals
If it is still not good enough for you, let me know, but I'll definitely work on the hunger bar :-)

Once again, thanks for the suggestion.

@Seneral, Thanks for the advice...I took a look at Terrain Composer and it is a great resource and will give way better results thank I can do on my own, though currently i'm almost done with the game and I have sculpted a better terrain than the one available in the beta 2.0, so before the final release I'll try to polish the new terrain to make it more pleasing to the eye (I'll take a look RTP v3).

Unity 5 has a lot of functionality, but I don't think it is good step to switch engine versions when approaching final release (missing references, etc.).

I didn't add image effects (Anti-Aliasing) in the beta 2.0 because I was careless and forgot (Yeah its weird) but that has been taken care of in the beta 3.0

Thank you for your advice I truly and greatly appreciate it :-)
