Heya. We did indeed remove that option in an effort to conserve virtual memory. BFME2 has a memory leak issue and the CaH system's color system worked by loading in a massive amount of textures, meaning crashes would occur much more often once you'd looked at the CaH menu and then played.

I think you're overstating the difficulty here.

A 'baby mode' isn't a matter of flipping a switch, note. There's 3 difficulty settings and each is linked to the other - to do what you suggest would require all settings to be much easier and that's not what the missions are designed for. Right now there's no way to change that as we are limited by what the base game offered.
