It is great to see what other Aussie indie developers are up to, and how they go about their craft.
I must admit I admire your stepped approach to the visual representation. I am working in 2D isometric at the moment, so apart from starting off with no lighting and animation-less sprites pretty much implemented the game view.
The 3d work I have done has taken a similar approach, but for my next project I might give your approach a go. If you leave the code in and allow them as overlays it would make a great debug tool.
Oh, and in the first vid I could swear you were a kiwi. Sorry. But then I am a pom.
