and well.. i don't want to seem arrogant, but merp will definitely top nehrim. Nehrim is an awesome mod indeed, but this mod will make you live inside middle earth, take part in its war, feel tolkien's work coming to life. This will not be just a mod, remember :)

one cool thing of merp will be that you will choose whether to stay with the fellowship or to travel alone. At every point of the travel to mount doom you'll be able to chase away the fellowship if you find them annoying :)

hey, we wouldn't ever hate you for such a thing :D plus, in my opinion one of the greatest things in merp is that we'll find every way to make you know always more and more things about middle earth while playing: you'll able to read lots of books talking about the history of middle earth, you'll be able to se some great weapons like aeglos, the spear of gil-galad, and so on :)

this is just a render, not an ingame pic. Of course, when the model will be placed it will be dipped into the ground, so the rock will appear to be mixed with ground and you won't have that impression anymore :)
