How will multiplayer work now that Gamespy shutdown?

I'm not going to rage and fire up about the payment but all i need to say is i'm disappointed. not only that they made it to Purchase but that they made it in parts to purchase. I don't want to spend 60$ on 4 parts of a mod to get the full Experience and enjoy what i thought for years was going to be a free WW1 Mod. I am also worried about the multiplayer. my main goal was to play with friends, is there going to be a Assault squad 2 cross-over? I just hope that the developers will respond and give us some answers. Thanks, Dlw~

I really wanna play this mod but heres the problem, i make my character, talk to the merchant, and for about 3 min after recruiting some guys from a village my game crashes. for 3 versions previous to now the game crashes a few min in the game everytime and its annoying as ****.

really depressing this mod is dead, i downloading a few weeks ago. most people ive seen on a server is 5. such a great mod.

Not trying to sound rude or anything but in my personal experience i was much more pumped a few years ago when i stumbled upon this mod, the mood has just be very dampened. idk why everyone is butt hurt and down voting and **** lel

honestly ive grown bored of waiting and moved on, this is pretty ridiculous, 4 years is long a ******* nuf for a god damn men of war mod. from the looks of it this thing is ready for a 1.0 release.

Indeed, but i think the ammount of work and progress they have it wont be too long before a release comes out, i think in a comment by the mod leader he said the mod is being wrapped up and polished, and that some voices and models are being finished, if you wanna look at the progress just check them pictures :)

The Creator Sent me a reply similar to this, i asked if they could melee with bayonets and he said you would probably be mowed down by machine guns, but to me it looks like some units already have bayonets so i'm sure they might melee, its not that hard to make an animation for it.

Your mod ******* sucks ****, i did everything it says and gives me an error "make sure all games are in folder" and they are! I took all the files that it put in out and deleted and you ****** up my game, now i can uninstall to reinstall, thanks a lot **********

Actually it is, the game says i have a 0 bar connection as to Regular MoW Which is 4 bar, like wtf Men of war

Assault Squad is a laggy piece of **** game, i mean i would play it everyday if it just didn't lag sooo bad, its not my pc its just online on that game overall. and i doubt it

Hey if you got some time i have a question, Will this be multiplayer plz oh plz say yes lol, and if you use gas will you be able to use gasmasks to live? and not just die there burning inside and out from mustard gas or choking on your own body fluids?

I always thought it would be cool if you could have an option to dig trenches, like how you can place sandbags and make your own defence's :D

Whats the priest for? Say a prayer before over the top? lol

Will there be any melee elements to the game? I would love to go over the top into the enemy trench with them fighting with bayonets and stuff :P
