I used to be able to play 6-8 player maps, have all the races enabled, and even the graphics set to fair and never had crashes, especially with the help of the mod manager on the last version. But ever since I got this, graphics are on literally the lowest now, tons and tons of options for skirmishes are turned off, changed resolution to low, and constantly crashes at the start up game or race viewer due to memory. What else can I do?

Other than that, the game is fun and is a major unofficial expansion pack to it.

I tried it again, this time reordering the mods and played 3 full battles. That seem to do the trick. No crashes or errors. The mod is excellent since it first came out.

*sign* Well as much as I would love to play DoW more it just keeps crashing. Playing new Witch Hunters and just crashes whenever they battle. Already have the LAA patch which does nothing. Anyway to increase the RAM usage?

Fixed it last night. Yeah it was for Codex lol. Took a very old Codex "game" folder and replaced it with the 4.0 build. Got rid of it. Thanks for the help.

One last question. Getting rid of the annoying "Advanced Build" icon. How do I go about doing so? I want to get rid of it because it's blocking abilities on build units. Thank you.

Thank you Brother Gambit. I messed around with AM race a little for my own liking and was able to have the tarantula turret become a buildable structure instead of an ability.

Yeah, it seems simple enough. Just the whole coding part I'm terrible at. Changing stuff around in Corsix like health and spawning, etc seems very simple to me. I'm actually having issues with a race mod I was able to pull out and make separate from a older mod. It works, but AI is kinda dumb. For instance, I'm trying to have the AI build, well, quicker. And build the first buildings that would be important. Like for example, Space Marines usually build a barracks, listening post, then plasma generator, etc. Mine keeps building 3 barracks then, listening post, then will train no units until it gets to tier 2. Very slow building and training units.

Very nice simple race mod. Would love to know how to mod a simple race mod like this one, but I'm horrible when it comes to coding. Would love to see a Iron Warriors/Dark Mechanicus race hopefully.

That's good. I was really hoping to see the Dark Prophecy mod (I think it was renamed to Black Crusade or something) back in action all updated and fixed. Can't really play it because the races (mainly Chaos since it focuses mainly on Chaos) don't choose a legion and pretty much avoid building certain buildings. Although for an incomplete mod, it still has potential. This mod is nice too, glad to see it up and running again.

Hmmm, it's weird. At first i figured it was Codex's AM conflicting with the AM mod. I messed around and combined the AM mod folder to the Codex folder to see what would happen, and it ended up working and fixing the inactive AI. Just a quick fix for the time being.

Ah darn, thanks anyways. I think Codex file names and BA Mod files are conflicting with each other because they're similar. Surprised Dawn of War is still alive.

Dawn of War: Codex is still breathing since I been away? Good. Boothy, keep it up, just a side note on the unit names, kind of overkill don't you think? All updated race mods work with Codex, except the Blood Angels mod. I tried everything I know to get it to work (although Codex has it's own, but to eaches own), even disabled the Blood Angels army in Codex to see if it was conflicting, but nope, no go. Would of been nice to see your Blood Angels vs SS Blood Angels lol. Any idea on that error though? Anyone else having that issue and is there a fix? Good to hear you're still kicking boothster, keep it up. Cheers dude

Anybody...? I'm trying to play this mod with Codex (along with other combined race mods) but this one out of the bunch crashes back to Windows screen. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong? (Sorry for the double post, no idea why it did it as guest)

Yeah that's what really blows. It's cause the upgrade tier abilities are the same as Codex. Meaning Daemons Mod and Codex have the same HQ ability names. Honestly if someone was willing to just change the name in which ever mod, then I believe you could play both. (I did a ton of experimenting and sorts...)

I like the mod, but only half of it plays with Codex...Which means when I play Daemons, the Rise of the Warp tier is missing and I cannot upgrade to the next tiers (using Codex as the main mod). So then I tried it again (using Daemons as the main mod instead) and got it all working, BUT now the Assault Marines for the Space Marines race is a purple box...Just one thing after another...

Meh it might me a glitch with another mod. It's okay, I replaced the model anyways with Dark Prophecy's DA Commander. No offense, it's still an awesome mod. Love race mods =)

The idea of the mod is pretty good, and it runs well with Codex. Only things I hope (we the DoW fans) to see are more units, updated textures, and wargear.

Soooo....Anyone having a color glitch with the Company Commander dude (the guy with the wings on his head)? His head is just white, cannot change color, and is incomplete/blocky.

Other than that, mod is great. And a side note, it does work in Codex as jONES says...
