David James St-Hill grew up in the South West of the United Kingdom and began his musical journey at a young age. During his early teens, David taught himself to make music using a computer and became experienced with sequencing, sampling, synthesis and sound manipulation. He began by learning the trumpet and after many years of studying music, David also learned to play a range of instruments including guitar, drums and piano. Combining his love of acoustic instruments, synthesizers and sound design with his passion for drama and film, it seemed only natural for David to find himself composing for film, television and video games.
