That piece doesn't really workin vanilla either. Can you build transports and bombers from the normal production menu? Most people don't really use that theatre menu

And that is why I typically only offer support on the official forums.

You have quite clearly messed up install . Your first post made it sound like you couldn't build mountain brigades, which is a common complaint since they are elites in the mod but not in the original game

Your second post made you sound like a sarcastic dickhead, who doesn't deserve any help

The theatre request menu is hardcoded, so basically won't work in any mod with new units

That's normal- there is a cap on mountain brigades since they are elite troops

Looks like the initial version still.

Try this:

Mediafire.com

The map cache in my documents. A pretty large number of people have it working as is now.

Here is a correctly built map cache if it helps

1drv.ms

Some people have it working.

You may need to delete your map cache in my documents. It will build a new one the first time you run it which takes a long time. Just leave it and t will work eventually, could be 20 mins

ok, the Italian ottoman Dow from Germany/Austria is an AI issue... came up with a patch to fix:

Mediafire.com

put this into script/diplomacy an overwrite the existing file.

Basically it stops call to arms for allies

Not sure what you mean here. Did Franz Ferdinand get shot? Did Serbia still exist?

A good first game is probably the 1914 start, much more likely to have historical outcomes

No, it is set in an alternate universe where the point of divergence is slight differences in the flags of Germany and Russia. You get to play through to see how much difference this would make to the outcome of the war

Done here.

We are working on a Russian Civil War scenario, for the next version, but if you are Russia and the soviets take over, you lose.

The Romanovs were done by that stage.

The albanian uprising is just a big rebellion, they tend to wander around the map

The German one is the war flag... have to choose and since it's a wargame I went with the war flag. Besides, feels more imperial.

I guess they could be changed, but then again they are very easy for the historically inclined to do themselves

Yes, I think you have to go via steamapps and follow the usual instructions

Not yet, that is one of the final things on our to-do list. That and more Mexican event detail, a Russian civil war scenario and more Chinese warlords events.

Other than those, the mod should be complete for content

Ok, very easy gives huge penalties to the AI, and the 1910 start gives players an even bigger advantage.

Try playing on hard/very hard and 1914 scenario if you are looking for a more historical game

Again, need to know start date, difficulty and country you are playing. It isn't hard for an experienced player to win as practically any country

Which Country and scenario are you looking at? Typically this would happen if the AI is low on convoys or low on manpower

Try deleting your map cache, its in my documents in the ww1 mod folder:

try downloading again, I fixed the .mod file.

Alternatively, fix it yourself, it should say
path = "tfh/mod/WW1Mod_v0.8"

not
path = "tfh/mod/ww1tfh"

checksum is displayed on the main menu... should say Hoi3 4.02 (GSKH) when you load without the mod and (ZZJD) when you load with the mod. If it doesn't say this when you load without the mod then you have something wrong with your vanilla install. If the checksum is wrong with the mod then something is wrong with your mod install

And is your checksum correct in both vanilla and the mod? Are you using podcats exe fix?
