I think that what Cozur wants to avoid is people thinking they can demand things from him - that they are entitled to having a say in everything he does. Most of the complaints I see regarding "how much of an ******* he is" are mostly regarding "he didn't implement feature x or yy I wanted" or "he was rude to me boohoo".
Let's be real here he doesn't owe us anything, anything at all. He spends his own free time making this mod and shares it because he wants it. He is the first modder I know that is actually honest about it, specially when he is ****** with some random guy that sent him a ****** bug request or some idea he deems stupid, and I respect him for that.
Regardless, I personally don't see him being the friendliest person ever as a requisite for me enjoying the mod, nor I will try to become best buddies with him for that exact same reason - they ARE different things. If that's the way he wants to do things, that his call, as long as the release meets my expectations I'm ok with waiting a little bit longer for it.
