As for the patch: Do you have the shivering isles expansion? I could be mistaken but I believe the v1.2.0416 is for shivering isles, so the mod may require that in order to function properly. Just a guess.

Grabba said the main reason behind the mod freezing was because of flaws in the Construction Set.
This morning I was browsing through a TES site and found this:

I think the last time I played this mod, I was on the 1.04 patch.

Also, it seems as if the expansion creates an ini crash as well, but that might just be me, cuz I'm using a modded ini file at the moment.

So I guess if you really want to get the mod to work, try reinstalling the game, instal the mod, and keep patching it until it works (hopefully)
