Thanks you for your reply. Is there any way to lower enemy artillery? I am missing something else than the settings.xml?

Hello, it is somehow possible to use the latset MOS version, but without the new map introduced a some versions ago?

I must say I really liked the old map over this one, as the gap between Isengard and Rohan and between Mordor and Gondor is too small for my taste.

I´ve always enjoyed DCG when i played it on AS1, kinda sad that support for it got dropped but I guess I understand since you are doing it for CtA too.

Ive got a question for you, since playing the AS1 always liked the fact that there is actualy progression and tanks and weapons correspond more or less accurately to the time they were introduced, however in this AS2 release I noticed there are several tanks missing, and instead of a gradual progression for example in the case of the Pnz3, you are directly given the Pnz3 F.

Im also worried about the introduction of new Artillery, which makes infantry even less worthy, even more considering the greater cost of squads now. I´ve seen the settings.xml but modifying the artillery setting doesnt seem to have any impact in the game whatsoever.

And finally, where did all the variety in infantry from the AS1 version go? There seems to be way less Variety, where you used to be able to have many many different squads in Soviets and Germans (the only ones ive played so far in the AS2 version) Now they have been reduced to very few generic squads.

Im guessing they are part of the Unit pack that has not yet been released for AS2?

Anyway, those are my two cents, this post ended longer than I expected it to be, I just want to finish by saying again how much I ejoy this mod and my hopes for a continued development.

Are you planning in including some kind of better AI?

I have always played in expert and while sometimes the AI does rekt your **** its only for a while and they really never go after your base, or only a couple of times, then they get all pasive and store huge amount of units near their base, only sending a few of them after the points you capture.

This is a pain in the *** not only because in the end, you can win most games by using unholy amounts of arty and units with long reach to kill them in their own base, but because it kinda makes it boring, and also usually kills the fps, specially against factions with huge amounts of troops, like orks or nids.

It seems that most units that stay at their base and are not vehicles or units like carnifexs or similar, are all damaged units, like if the AI didnt reinforced them or something.

I will try playing in lower diff like hard to see if the same happens, but idk when will I be able to do it, so figured I could tell you already.

To correct myself, meltas and plasmas have a cost of 60/30 for the normal guardsmen.

So yeah, you have it pretty ******, unless you just spam cheap squads to cap all the map fast, and that only would work against the AI probably,

I would say yes for C

B seems okay as No, I would lower them a bit though, but not a lot.

And I agree with D , specially on the AOE weapons.

I still have to play this last version but I would suggest lowering the price for special weapons in the IG.

They are pretty cheap but seeing that a marine can one-shot a guardsman while the dude cant do the same even with a plasma gun or a melta, ***** hard for the grunts.

I would say make the special weapons for the IG a bit cheaper(even more) because you may need several plasma weapon teams in order to take down a marine unit( if you manage to do it at all) and at the current price of 20 power, its simply not feasible.
