For anyone who may be interested in such things, I thought I would explain this game a bit.

The point of developing this game was primarily as an exercise in the various ins and outs of publishing from Unity to the many mobile platforms and app stores available. I originally intended the app to be more of an exercise than a real product. As such, most of the development was done in under a week. However, we noticed the people we'd installed test copies for were actually enjoying the game, and it did come out pretty well, so we decided to do a bit more polish and a full release. It was a great learning exercise, and will come in handy for some of our upcoming full cycle mobile projects.

Yep, it's definitely a niche game. Lots of people don't like ascii rougelikes either. It's OK, it was originally developed as a 7drl, with an attempt at a slightly unique mechanic, which I think it delivers on, with both the escort mechanic and the 5 schools of elementAL magic mechanic. If we do continue to develop it out in to a fuller game, there will need to be a lot more depth to both mechanics, but I think the idea has some merit

We're working on getting a quick Tutorial / LP up on youtube in the next couple of days. In the meantime anyone who wants to is free to record / monetize any LP's they may do.

version 1.01 just uploaded. in defaults.cfg comment out the 16x16 font and uncomment the 12x12. should work for you.

The in game instructions aren't very good, hoping to either do a video or writeup soon

I'm working on an update that will include a smaller tileset. This should fix the problem. It should be uploaded later today.
