2) Extract folder

into the root folder

3) Start the game so that the
Quake4Config.cfg

5) Close the game. Open the
Quake4Config.cfg

file with any text editor and use CTRL+F to find the lines:
seta image_ignoreHighQuality "1"

seta gui_mediumFontLimit "0.60"

seta gui_smallFontLimit "0.30"
replace their values ​​with "0"

Нашёл на просторах интернета простое решение размытых текстур:
"...если в Quake 4 независимо от настроек и железа - текстуры низкого разрешения, то откройте конфиг "Quake4Config" и измините значение строчки seta image_ignoreHighQuality "1" на seta image_ignoreHighQuality "0".
