I didn't disable it. That cheat code isn't enabled in vanilla WFaS.

The artillery code was originally scripted by Dr Tomas for Warband's Twilight of the Sun King mod. As artillery must be implemented in this fashion as a scene prop, it can't form part of the player's party and has to spawn separately as an allied party. Artillery as a scene prop is immobile so if it spawns too close to the baseline it will have only a limited effect on the subsequent battle (i.e. can't advance into combat). It spawns on the battlefield randomly, which can result in it not having a line of sight to the enemy. Accordingly, it is coded to allow indirect fire. Such are the limitations of the underlying Warband engine.

I don't have any plans for the Jacobite rebellion. However, I will make the mod's code open source at some point, which would allow you to do it. :)

I kept heavy hunters out of the shops, but they can be looted if you take on Royalist Lifeguards or Parliamentary Cuirassiers.

Hi, I'm currently taking a break working on another mod, but I will get back to ECW later this year. I gave a copy of the source to Dazzer who's interested in making a version with more regimental uniforms. Hopefully, he'll be interested in publishing it when he's finished.

Glad you installed the shaders to sort out battle flags. Village recruits are poor in any faction. They'll have a tough time against veteran troops. I suggest you go to towns and recruit higher level royalist troops from garrison commanders. Village recruits don't level up beyond trained bands.

Work was suspended during the world cup & my holidays. After I've finished a couple of campaign maps for other mods, I'll get back to the 17th Century.

If WFaS used a later Warband engine, I could have shipped my animated shaders in the mod's root folder, avoiding their manual installation. Glad you sorted it.

WFaS isn't designed to let you start your own kingdom. Forums.taleworlds.com

I haven't changed that because there is only one King in this mod even if all of his three kingdoms are in rebellion.

I haven't implemented cannons in sieges. I may at some stage add them to the defence of capital cities.

If your faction relationship is 20/+ your faction considers you important enough to support in sieges - allows breaches in walls (due to siege artillery in ECW - previously due to explosive mines in WFaS).

You receive the message "You failed to convince your superiors to trust you with their precious siege artillery" if your faction relationship is less than +20. If your faction relationship is 20/+ you can get a breach in the enemy walls.

Practically all of the audio (except for drummers & bagpipers)is vanilla WFaS. I've had no other reports of any audio problems.

WFaS uses an old Warband engine (1.143), but it's assets (models, scenes etc.) are only licenced for use with WFaS. You might also enjoy the original WFaS single player game.

That's correct. Please check the contents of your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\mount & blade with fire and sword\languages\en folder. It should only contain hints.csv, ui.csv and uimain.csv - delete any other csv files.

Somehow, you have implemented my mod to read native language files, which shouldn’t be possible if you follow the installation guidance notes. Try backing up the languages sub-folder and then deleting its contents.

Back up your original user_interface_b.brf in Warband's CommonRes folder before replacing it with this one.

That will downsize your troop labels for Native and all Warband mod's whose module.ini file includes:
load_resource = user_interface_b
as opposed to:
load_mod_resource = user_interface_b
where a custom file is loaded from the mod's Resource folder.

Your game freezing suggests a lack of available memory. Please check your video settings under configuration options. You should aim for a performance estimate of 100% or better.
Please also look in your rgl_log.txt (its in the main WFaS folder):
1. Are there any error messages at the bottom of your rgl_log, which might indicate the problem?
2. At the top of the rgl_log what is recorded for your available texture memory? Mine looks like this:
-- GPU:
- D3D9 Adapter: 0 / Driver: nvd3dum.dll / Description: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
- Texture Memory: 4050 ( Available Texture Memory: 4036 )

If your available texture memory is much lower than your texture memory, you may need to change your video card settings to optimise performance.

Currently, you need to install the full version followed by patches 1 to 3 in order. The options file is for user preferences and can be ignored or fully or partially installed as you wish (see its guidance notes).
I will be posting a revised full version incorporating all of the bug corrections/patches and adding a few new features to make things a little easier, but I'm still working on it currently.

With Fire and Sword uses the 1.143 Warband engine, but it is a separate game/DLC. I'd recommend that you try it as well as my mod.

Slowly working around RL priorities. hoboistice is working on a rebalance of coldarms and armours, having sorted out weapon animation flags to allow directional thrusts and one hand overhead thrusts. He also got rid of the silly blocking animations from firing muskets. I'm working on mounted bannermen who carry animated flags, which use Warband heraldry to bring each ai lord's map flag onto the battle field and churches.
