This looks familiar.
"How do you plan on re-taking Omega?"
"I think I'm going to employ violence.."
Please keep in mind that Twisted Insurrection is still in a Beta, and your (the community's) feedback is critical to achieving more balanced gameplay! We appreciate your feedback, and if you noticed problems, be sure and be specific in what you notice! :)
I thought you were Vas Normandy? Either way, I agree. The Rayya is a beautiful ship <3
You know... I've never seen our shipyard in-game. I like it!
Okay, so I'm not too keen to get the pre-release just yet until I'm positive it's stable, but I did want to point out a little bug with the (standard) Euro Textures involving the MAVE4 (narrow, single tile wide) transition piece to standard road in 31.2... AT zoom 3 and lower, the transition textures are swapped. IE it looks similar to this:
Normal (zoom 4):
--<====
Glitch/Bug (zoom 1-3):
--=<===
It's rather minor, and the pathing is all correct, it's just a minor issue, but since I use the narrow medianless avenue quite extensively, it gets pretty annoying trying to take larger screenshots and having to correct them in Photoshop.
As always, keep up the fantastic work!
The zip is corrupt for me too, however if you try running the .exe directly from winrar (i recommend getting winRAR if you don't have it), it seems to run fine. Sometimes a split-second connection interruption can cause this, but it seems that the .exe is unaffected, only the manuals.
I must say that I greatly enjoyed Orbital Defense Grid. It is VERY well made.
Mods don't work with torrented games. Has something to do with the no-cd patch.
Yes. I also tried using Origin's "Command Line" function. Nothing seems to work.
I played this mod a WHOLE lot when I had the disc install, but I lost it. I got the Ultimate Collection... and for some f*cked up reason, Desura can't find the C&C3 installation, but finds all the other ones. I can't play Essence now. I'm frikin sad. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Twisted Insurrection is the sex. No doubt about it, I'm about to blow my load all over my screen.
Crap.
That's the same screen I'm using to make TI stuff with. iFail. :)
The conduit lights make it look too large. A frigate should be the size of the Normandy SR2, maybe a little larger. Keep in mind the Normandy is a frigate too. This looks like a cruiser next to those fighters.
The design is solid though!
Your bump map is a little strong there, buddy. :P
Looks good though. I like it!
Hey guys, most of you know me over at Simtrop, but I feel like I should post here, seeing as it's hard to find things sometimes at Simtropolis.
I'm having trouble with the TLA7 and AVE6 starter pieces. They just don't show up. is this a known issue, or is it just me?
Otherwise, I use the crap out of NAM :) It's fantastic!
While this is beyond beautiful, I may photoshop the Infinity in. Just because I need my fix haha. :)
You guys are doing a stellar job! Don't stop believin'!
I was listening to this while reading Obama's speech on today's tragedy in Connecticut... It made a sobering piece. I cried. Excellent work.
I love this mod. It's so beautiful. So, what've you got in store for us next?
Oh wait...
lemme check the staff forum. :P
So I worked on these while I was in Iraq... I suggest taking a look at the Foxtrot model. It's a much superior version, with better heat-damping, especially around the turbines and the intake vent in front of the main transmission. The Foxtrot model also has a stronger undercarriage and some other minor changes that aren't visual :P
The main visual changes are visible on the turbines and the rear spire.
So. I absolutely positively love what I'm seeing. I'm an avid lover of the Halo universe, I've read all the books and played all the games.
I just have one request:
Please, sweet baby Jesus, include the UNSC Infinity. I'd like to see Big Mamma rollin' through a system, laying down some serious hurt.
I.... I must model this. Or vector it. I don't know yet. But... this ship is beautiful.
These are terribly low poly.. :/ Tiberium wars can support higher poly models than this.
The concept and idea is great, but the execution wasn't very good.
I apologize if I seem callous, but I have very high expectations for this mod.
That's a meter specific grid location. That LT knows what he's doin. :P
I like it though!
FIRST.
Lame troll comments aside, It's fantastic to see EP gone live. :)
I'm going to assume the (turbines?) on the side are some sort of upgrade? Otherwise, fantastic work.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. Battlestar has an amazing score, and Bear McCreary is a great composer. I think that this would fit well in both universes. :)
Fantastic! I know everyone's bitching about the textures, but from someone who constantly textures models, it can be a huuuuge pain in the *** to get right. What they've accomplished so far is pretty great. The actual UVW map itself could use with less scratches and more live paint. The units won't be that dinged up, and me coming from a military background, I can tell you that even in active warzones, vehicles are pretty well kept.
I think it looks pretty fantastic! :)
Wow. This is... beautiful. That's all I can really say.
