I wish I knew, but as I've got another laptop running Kali I understand your pain/the lack of any solid way to fix it:(

My best guess is maybe shaders or some of the more complex code involved in the vehicles maybe?

My friend. He stole EA assets. Argument over. I am English, stop spamming this because I will remove your comments and report you. It is fairly obvious if you read English that I am not taking credit and have fully explained its a submod. Nobody cares about the source when it's filled with plagiarised and stolen content anyway.

Possibly, some bugs are beyond fixable due to the lack of source to build off. Apparently according to the Russian comments the guy who got banned off here and originally did it still works on it and does have the code, but appears to have not backed down on misused assets hence why it's not on here.

I *may* be able to find a fix to it like I did the other features, but it's a mess modding something made with the module system without the pre-compiled stuff

To put this politely to anyone else who asks about non-permitted work: you're claiming something that cannot be released, that was why it was taken down. If you wish to provide evidence of the 'source' for this version that isn't stuffed filled with ripped EA assets from Battlefield 1 then I'll yield, but otherwise you're doing the community a disservice as I restarted this due to so many people being unable to even download it.

I am not asking permission from the person who made this and that was stated for very clear reasons that the version this was made off was removed for plagiarised content, and his subsequent banning from the taleworlds forums. When I stated about being able to contact people, that was in reference to the owners of aforementioned stolen assets: Amp.reddit.com

From what I know and can see the mod was cancelled and removed off of ModDB for using assets that were not permitted to be used in the first place. The assets were ripped mostly from other games and packages of already released files on forums. Same goes for sounds, which I can tell from this video are still ripped fron BF1. This upload removes all of these features because ModDB will not tolerate copyrighted content.

If you are with the original developer I'm afraid the entire world can see his poor conduct on the talewords forums thread for the original release about using stolen/non-permitted assets.

Sorry if my tone is a little heavy, but I've had to translate your comment and it might have confused parts.

But to put it as politely as possible, I'm keeping this up since assets that are already stolen/ripped such as models,textures and sounds can't be claimed, and I intend to remove all of them to prevent any chance of a cease and desist. The dev release I'm working on with all this stuff removed is a copy of Red Wars extremely far back in the dev cycle before the disputes happened, so to say it in a friendly way: it isn't his to claim

It's something to do with high XP differences. Cheat mode levelling doesn't work too well but they level fine in combat:)

Most units have to be high level due to the high damage weapons and the XP cheat only adds 1000 at a time I think

I did start work a while back, but my laptop had issues. Got a new(ish) one so time to throw Intel HD graphics and DX7 only playtests back at it again :3

If you *have* contributed, also let me know. What I'm doing now is wizardry since there is *0* source code for any of this hence the weird patch fixes.

Edit: also, v0.9a release upload is authorising, should be up tomorrow at the latest (23/01/2021)
